It appears to me that agression by the western alliance is fuelling the terorists - giving them more reasons to fight back

I was driving down the street and see this guy take one step off the curb and look in my direction. His left foot was on the curb and his right foot in the street so I slow down to about to about 20 mph and keep eye contact with him. I'm wondering is he going to cross the street (by the way there's no signal or crosswalk there) or is he just looking up the street at something? Turns the police were conducting a sting operation that day and citing drivers for not stopping for peds and the man I saw was an undercover cop. I got a ticket for this, my question do you think I do anything wrong?

I know someone who has a warrant out for there arrest in Canada, 3 charges I think, probation violation, unlawfully at large, and something else he didnt tell me, he lives in alberta, but is planning to move to BC or SK, the warrant as far as I know is only provincial (not canada-wide) would the police in the other provinces be able to arrest him and transport him back to alberta to face the charges? or are they kinda S.O.L to get him unless they catch him back in alberta? He's a knob and wont ask, so i did it for him. All info is appreciated, thanks.

The person "borrowed" $395.00 and said they would pay it back in 2 weeks. That was 4 months ago and I have no proof they owe me money. I thought if I taped a conversation with me and this person, and if I got them to admit it, while I was taping them, I would have proof they owe me money. But I dont know if that is legal. In talking to her I was saying she owed me $400.00 and she corrected me, telling me it $395 she owed me. Ultimately I want to do the samething, only this time record the conversation, and use that as my proof. I've seen these small digital recorders that are the size of a lighter. I figure I could have that set to record in my shirt pocket, and carry on the conversation. But I want to keep it legal. I live in PA. I dont know if that makes a difference. Thank you

Why is that county cops have the biggest attitudes? They have a less stressful beat than a city cop but they act like cock of the walk. Especially where I live where its almost 0 crime and they have a worse attitude than a cop on the his beat in south central. They get paid like $50k a year to do almost nothing cept ride around giving tickets.

Every person who i knew who drives/drove without a license has gotten caught. My cousin got pulled over the first time becuase he had a left taillight out i can understand that. But my other cousin got pulled over and he was driving perfectly he just looks young and he got caught and he was driving by himself! Then once my 14 year old friend was driving and the car was full of teenagers and we got pulled over but thats probably because its illegal IN CALIFORNIA to drive with anybody under a certain age when you are under 18 (even if you have a license). Then my other cousin got pulled over and he was driving perfectly! He is 17 but looks a bit younger. The only law he was breaking was driving without a license and insurance but you cant tell that by looking! Anyways my question is can the police pull you over if you LOOK young and unlicensed but are driving perfecty and nothing is wrong with the car (i.e. stolen, no plates etc)?

It seems to me that we need to take a hard line with all criminals and forget about the do-gooders

You see in the media all the time that criminals are being let out of prison early because they are running out of cells. The most obvious answer is build more prisons but another idea I have had is that all petty criminals (theives, muggers, shop lifters etc) should have to serve some time in the army. It would show them discipline and with any luck would give them a career at the end of their time. Does anyone else think this is a good idea, if not then what would you do to ease the situation?
