Each state has their own laws as far as carrying firearms are concerned, first you must have a permit to carry the gun. After that has been established you can get a handbook that tells you where you can and cannot carry a firearm with you. For example I live in South Dakota and have a concealed pistol permit, I cannot carry the weapon into a school, into an establishment that gets 50% of its revenue from the sale of malt beverages. AKA bars, as for the bank I cannot be sure I was in that predicament last week and decided it was best not to go inside for fear of being busted of course the odds of that were pretty slim. It is completely legal to carry one on you if you have the proper permits and stuff, although if you are drunk or have drugs in your system or possession you will be charged with a crime because it is unlawful to carry if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I hope this helps, be sure to check into it in more depth just to be sure.

It's illegal to carry a gun without a license or permit. You could be arrested for carrying a concealed weapon The NFA (national rifle asso) advocates the right of the citizen to bear arms, esp; wen you live in high crime areas such as East LA. Hopefully, when you walk into a bank, you are there to do some business transactions-be it to deposit or withdraw not to rob. and leave that gun home. there are two permits. One to own a gun and another to carry.Personally, i don't believe in guns. only the P olice should carry them . Even among them, if a gun is discharge in the line of duty, they have to surrender the gun and an investigation is launched.;by the internal affairs.

im one of the people thatjust feel rebellious to gun laws and i think we have the right to keep and bear arms given to us in the constitution ...its a big grey area really and any police on the street is going to make u feel like a felon if you happen to get searched for any reason and have a gun ... ive been stopped several times in my car and asked if i have a weapon then calmly say "yes" and where what it is ... then proceed to get brutalized and handcuffed and every check in the book done on me ... in the end they let me go because .... its not illegal to carry a gun. Theres all kinds of local ordinances preventing carrying of weapons and of course buildings and events that prohibit them .... as far as concealed carry i look at it like this .... if your not doing anything illegal and the gun is concealed then why do you need a permit? why would you be searched? On the other hand if you pull your gun out to use it for whatever reason then it is no longer concealed and the permit is not your "liscense to kill" and will not help you legally if you pop someone for any reason. I say carry it if you feel you need it and dont worry about it .... never threaten anyone with a gun, and if you pull it out let it only be because your life or your loved ones life is in danger and shoot whoever it is that is the danger ... ah but get a permit if it makes you feel like ur more legal ... it will make it easier to buy a gun with no waiting period anyway.

Legal or not, minor gun holder here. Own 1 fully automatic "antique" Thompson submachine gun. Still in working order. In right mind would never shoot, or remove from plexi-case.
IN condition that I would shoot and or carry, 1 semi-auto .45 pistol, 1 semi-auto .223 long rifle with 8X scope. (You want to know why so small and underpowerful bullet? Has much longer effective range, and shot to the head is strong enough to go in and bounce around, not strong enough to exit the other side.) And finally, The star of my collection, after my WW2 tommy gun...my $89 walmart breechloading 20 gauge shotgun. That I keep in my truck. And going to schoolm leave it in the gun rack in my back window. No-one says crap. THis is fucl{ville, Kansas. There are no laws.
In kansas it is legal to own ANY gun that is not fully automatic or in dangerous working order. It is legal to have my tommy gun because the ammo I have for it is stored in a clip in a different plexi-case, and have an antique liscence.
Well, you can carry a gun, if they have problems with it, shoot 'em...simple enough eh?

It is legal in a few states that have concealed weapons laws. It is not legal in states without such laws, like California. There isn't anyplace you can live and have a zero percent chance of getting shot. If you live in Arizona, and have a carrying permit and enter a bank, you are required to keep your gun holstered.

What state do you live in? Georgia code requires you to have a carrying concealed weapons permit unless you are law enforcement. Even with a permit, there are restrictions. Florida is the same. I don't know about California, but I know that in most every state, you are allowed to have a weapon in your home without a permit unless you are a convicted felon. The Constitution gives you the right to defend your life. As far as carrying one outside your home, check with your state's guidelines.

If you have a permit to carry a concealed weapon it would be perfectly legal to carry a firearm. Having said that, I have to add that Sheriff Lee Baca, of Los Angeles Co. issues very few permits. If you walk into a bank, common sense dictates that you keep it well hidden.

It's not illegal here in Texas, and you oughta see how people think again before they mess with you. Anybody, anywhere can carry a gun, legally, unless the store owner or business owner says "no guns" in a publicly displayed sign, or you're referring to a list of places where the Texas Law prohibits them, like, in a church, and bank, I think. God Bless you.

If you have a gun permit, yes you can carry it. Do Not take it into a bank, or other federal offices. Unless you are looking for trouble.Cause you'll find it. Be safe.

it isnt illegal if u have it concealed just so long as you have a permit for the gun and a conceal carry permit so that you can carry it concealed.Or just as long as it is in plain site all you need is the paperwork saying you own the gun and then you dont need the conceal permit.Just make sure the gun is not illegal by state or federal laws.Just make sure you check with all laws in your area
