Ok, so yesterday I got a new BMX bike and tonight I decided to take it for a ride...

I'm riding through a closed store's parking lot in the front and a cop truck with two officers stops me...

One of them gets out, and the conversation goes like this...

"What're you doin man?"
"Riding my bike."
"Where do you live?"
"*name of county*"
"Well get the f*** out of *county I am riding in*, get the f*** outta here! You have no business here!"
"Ok."

They leave and I caught the license plate, but not the badge number or his name.

Was he allowed to tell me to leave, and use the profanity that he used? What should I do?

Someone is trying to scam my brother out of $4900.00. He is up on them. They told him he won a Canadian lottery. They sent him a check for the $4900.00. He is now supposed to issue 2 money grams for $2500.00 to 2 people....allegedly the Montreal Secretary & Montreal Treasurer. After he does this he allegedly would get a check for One Million Dollars. My brother knows it is a scam and that they just want his $5,000.00. My brother has been collectiong the information from this Mid-eastern man over the last month that he has been in contact with him. He received the check and went to the bank expecting his bank to take a complaint. He called the credit union organization that issued the check. They said it is a "Nigerian lottery scam" going on and they are aware of it. He called Montreal Police, FBI and Chicago PD. Everyone keeps blowing him off to someone else. Who can he give this info to so they are caught & others don't get ripped off and $$$ in terrorist hands??

i was living with my fiance's grandmother and we had to move out. Since i've been away she has been going through every piece of mail i've recieved within the past week or two. If someone invented an automated computerized high power sniper rifle that could all by itself spot targets, engage and shoot. Equipped with infrared cameras and sensors and a powerful zoom capable of locking on targets as far as 1 mile.

Then he would plant many of those Robosnipers in an area of the city where he wants to commit a crime.

Would you risk your lives fighting against very effective machinery ?

Wouldn't that have a strong impact against your morale ? Because you know those weapons would never tire, never need food and water, never need rest, could not be incapacitated by tear gas or other chemical weapons. Would be very resistant robust so they could only be taken down with Anti-tank charges. They would be compact so as to be as small a target as possible. And they would never miss: One shot, one hit.

They could find weak spots and hit where you are not protected.

So, would you risk your lives to fight cold and calculating hardware ?

I'm waay poor (<$20,000 / year) and have always had to choose between rent and child support. I've never been current but I do pay, just not as much as the state of Ohio wants. There has always been and always will be a warrant out for my arrest. Last time I went to court in Ohio to try and have it reduced they arrested me in the courtroom before it was my turn. They gave me 30 days but before I was released there was another warrant out for the missed apyments when I was in jail. Now I hear it's a felony in Ohio to be behind more than $1000 in Child support. And I am.

Now my Mother has died and I want to travel back to Ohio to attend the funreal. Will I get arrested when I arrive in Ohio?

Do they do the same TSA crap on the Trains too?

Please, if you don't know, don't quess. I really don't want to go to the joint and miss more payments, my kids need what little money ($150 a week - they want $350 a week, I only make $300-$325 a week) I'm paying them now.

and its dark, no lights, would you shoot first and just clean up the mess the idiots body made or say that you have a gun and that you WILL shoot and risk the possibility of them still coming at you? There is bogus lawsuit in Ohio where a guy shot an unarmed burglar and now is getting sued. Whadda joke.

I was pulled over for "supposedly" going 49 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. It happened in a little town called Northmoor, Missouri and the officer clocked me at the very top of the hill. Now the most I recall going looking down when I reached the top of the hill was 40 MPH. When I saw the first posted sign stating the speed limit I slowed down and was actually going 35 MPH. About a block down the road the cop pulled me over. I told him I was that I was only going 40 at the most but he said he clocked me at 49. When he issued me my ticket he wrote down 48 instead. Its been almost two weeks since the ticket was issued and I never recieved it in the mail. I just got off the phone with the court clerk and it was returned because it had the wrong address. The clerk said the ticket would cost me $90 to pay. This is my first speeding ticket ever. I'm really good at following the speed limit and usually catch myself only going about 5 over. When I see it I slow down and use my cruise control.
