Would a list of "known associates" appear on a police "rap sheet," or would you have to dig deeper?

There are different databases that can be accessed. It would not show up on the same report as an individuals criminal record, but it wouldn't be hard to find if the person in question is a gang member or has other criminal connections.

That is not going to appear on any public available "rap sheet" and there availability depends on the jurisdiction you are talking about.
