I am moving to a new town and I wanna make sure I keep my kids safe. Is there a free site that handles this sort of info? Don't sex offenders have to register with their local government offices?

Last week I was served with a tresspassing warning at a local grocery store. The cops gave me no other reasons besides that 1 of the managers there saw me in there the day before 'stuffing things into my purse'. This is a lie, completely. I wasn't even in the store!
Anyway, I called the store manager the next day...he said it was because I took a bag by the printer, and was stuffing things into my purse. He said I didn't want to take it 'out side of the box' and that in order to see the so called tape, I would have to go to court. But I know there's no tape.. because I know I didn't do it! But I can't see the tape, because I have a tresspassing warning against me at the location where the tape is. Following?...
So I called the local small town sherriff department, they told me to contact a certain Chief who happens to ever be able to talk to me.
There's kinda no where else to shop for the specialty foods I need to eat, except an hour away. So what should I do?

My husband gets visitation of his daughter every other weekend. He also gets 4 non consecutive weeks per year of "vacation" with his daughter. But because the birth mother has denied him visitation nearly all summer, the judge ruled yesterday that he have two weeks vacation right now. Our problem, however, is that the mother is threatening to call our house repeatedly, stake out, and call police if he is not with her at all times. Due to denied visitation when he actually got vacation from his job and because he has to work, I am spending the days with her and he will be here towards the late afternoon and obviously weekends. In his court order, it says "during visitation father must personally care and supervise child at all times" and that is what the birth mother is using. He just fought for 9mos to get these two weeks ,but cannot get that from his job. What is the worst that could happen over the next two weeks if she finds out that her daughter is with me some of the time?

10 L bags of heroin, a class A drug, from a dealer near the city’s shopping centre for eight weeks.S.police said an investigation had been launched. The news prompted condemnation from local politicians&anti-drug campaigners.”clearly it’s a great worry to find that any primary school child is using hard said labour mp..”we need to identified whether this is a particular issue to this familyor, more worryingly,if this is the tip of the iceberg in terms of this sort of drugs use among classmates.there are large number of locations where drugs can quite freely be purchased.

In my little podunk town in Mid-Michigan, population 250,000 or so, there are plenty of cop cars roaming the streets. The population is dwindling, yet you still see the cop cars out and about, looking for speeders, you name it.

When I went to college in Ann Arbor, I noticed the police presence was considerably less. You'd see a cop riding around on a bike on campus now and then, and it was rare to see a cop car driving around town. The police were never intimidating. Now in East Lansing, home to MSU, the police were almost paramilitary, riding two to a car, looking for troublemakers...

Why do some towns have more of a police presence than others? Is it a liberal/conservative thing? Ann Arbor is liberal, yet it had crime that would warrant a cop presence.

I've been to a couple other countries too, and it seems to me that America has more of a police presence than any other country.

Does anyone know why?

If a mayor 's daughter gets stopped for DUI and she refuses to take a sobriety test and her father, the mayor says on public tv, "oh, there has been a mistake"; do you think she should get charged and will be charged just like everyone else gets a charged for not taking the Sobriety test? It happened today.

I drink like a fish and smoke like a chimney, but that doesn't suddenly make me a bigot. Not according to everyone who's around me then, anyway.

Does anyone really think the alcohol suddenly triggered his hatred? Or has he always thought that way, and being nailed for DUI just got him caught?

Hizballah
-- The Lebanese "Hizballah" group smuggles cocaine from Latin America to Europe and the Middle East and has in the past smuggled opiates out of Lebanon's Bekaa valley, although poppy cultivation there has dwindled in recent years. Its involvement in drug trafficking and other illicit activity may expand as state sponsorship declines.
