I am moving to a new town and I wanna make sure I keep my kids safe. Is there a free site that handles this sort of info? Don't sex offenders have to register with their local government offices?

go to your state government website, (ex. WWW.TX.GOV.US.STATE). After getting onto the website, look for the attorney generals website, (could be a link or a whole new address). Go to registered sex offenders file in your state. It should have them listed in alphabetical order according to geographical lines. There is no charge for this service, as it is public record, and making information available free to the public helps keep a watch out on these pervs.

put the name john walsh in search and of course there are abou 500 things come up.but go to the one about the law Bush just sighned then find your state and city.You can get address,picture,and place of employment.

Check your states Dept of Correction site! Many will have such listings. If not your state's regular site should have.
