Looking for the specific text that refers to "active" duty reservists and National Guard personnel having their civilian employment protected while addressing emergency deployments, etc.

It's not in the Patriot Act. That legislation pre-dates the Patriot Act. Ask your CO for advice, or you might try a site search of military.com. They have a lot of links to very good information there.

That is not in the patriot act. That was in effect long before the patriot act. Ask one of the recruiters for your state, they can tell you where it says that your job will be protected.

I don't know that it does. I thought this was addressed in some piece of legistlation back in Vietnam or maybe Korea.
