police came into our home and got my son out of bed and told him they wanted to talk outside once outside he asked to talk to his dad and they(police) told him no. We found out 3 hours later where he was. The Police station would and could not tell us anything about him or where he was. Dont us we as parents need to be informed of what is happening by the police . My son is only 16 and we have the right to be informed of whats going on before he is taken off. Our deaf daughter let them into our home but the Police never said anything to us we dont know if there was even a warrent for him. They just took him without a parents knowledge. IS THIS ACTUALLY LEAGAL FOR THEM TO DO? WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS MATTER? WHO DO I REPORT IT TO?? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

A man was peacefully walking when out of the darkness three jackbooted thugs are running at you firearms drawn and ordering you to stop. while pissing your pants.you are thinking oh no I pissed my pants! and while running crap, is sliding out of your pants as well. and akin to a train hitting you down you go tackled to the ground,head slammed into the pavement, the full weight of three heavyweights on your back,then a hidden punch to the groin for good measure. I feel no matter what the guy did, he did not deserve that kind of treatment! was he guilty until proven innocent? oh sure unless he was pointing a weapon which would justify that treatment or worse. I believe contempt of individual rights are violated here. I would not just stand there I would give true reason(or charged with reason) for being attacked like that. it is completley intolerable, and unexcuseable for any officer to be above the law.

why can a police officer in his police vehicle park on a road with double yellow lines or other parking restriction while they go into a fish and chip shop or other shop for there lunch or a paper. yet a van driver who i might add working for a reputable charity making a delivery of donated goods to one of its shops parked for no more than 5 mins while delivering a 3 peice suite gets a parking ticket. are there different rules for a police officer getting his lunch and a van driver delivering heavy goods. are the rules on parking for a police vehicle for an officer carrying out his duty the same as when he is getting a burger and chips.

When I was a youth, I have experimented with several drugs. I haven't done drugs in years and I'm interested in becoming a police officer. I was told that if you have used drugs in the past, you cannont become a police officer. Is that correct?

I have been told two different answers and don't know who to believe. I bought this from an attorney and he told me that it doesn't have to be registered with Missouri Department of Revenue/DMV nor does it have to have a license plate/tag on it. Does anyone know what the correct law because I even called the local DMV and they couldn't answer me and put me on hold for 20minutes and I just gave up waiting for them to answer my simple question!

owner is listed on the sex offender list, they have not changed his address yet, so it looks like we are sex offenders & it doesn't have a contact on the site so we could change this. Who do we need to talk to to get this changed? we don't want to look like sex offenders!

I feel frustrated, because it seems that it is not considered by police to be a crime in the country I live.

I informed the chiefs of operative police about tricksters, who play policeman trying to get money, but papers reached an investigator only 40 days later and I received a letter at once, that no base to start an investigation... Because I have not negotiated with criminals and therefore can not name a sum of money they would want... What should I think?

I need to know a website cause this is being done over the net. I know i shouldn't take people without brains serious but this is my child i am talking about.

There's a Judge in a small town in TN, he has never had schooling, or been a Lawyer, he's been voted in simply because it's been handed down through the family, now they're going to elect a new Judge, who knows if any of them have any background in law, and as far as the law goes..it's a joke too.. theres a guy running for "Sheriff" who's a barber/cigarette shop owner, i don't recall him ever having been an officer of the law a day in his life.
I can't believe all this is legal, kinda makes you wonder what kinda country we got going here, is he gonna stop in the middle of a haircut to run out and catch the bad guy?

I want to take a class on CPR and First Aid with my brother. My brother is wanting to be a cop within the next year. So, I am wondering where is the best place to go to get certification in CPR and First Aid?

We are in the Vancouver, Washington area.
