I filed a police report, and they have the guy who stole it on survelance, but it doesnt seem like they will catch him, and I had my cell phone, money, and my drivers license in it. is there any way I can get my stuff back, or at least money back for what was stolen? Do you think the guy who stole it will come to my house since he has my address now? I am very scared that he will.

Ok, I'm moving to Italy in a year and I was wondering if you can do background checks on people there? I live in Kentucky and aren't for sure if you can do that with people who live so far away, because I don't want to end up living with some one who is a convicted drug seller or something.

I have a friend in college for Criminal Justice, and he works as a security guard in a mall. He feels that people treat him differently than everyone else that works there, and sometimes he gets made fun of by mall rats and insulted by customers when he asks them to move their illegally parked cars, etc. How come?

I need help from a ploice office to prove that reciting the alphabet backwards is indeed a legit Field Sobriety Test.
Also, that a person who is about to attempt the test must be able do it on their on merit; not relying on a demonstration.

My Home Association fees are way above the average and we still pay assesments for the services that are supposed to be covered like roof replacements, fencing, and exterior painting. Is there a law against the high fees and what can I do legally if I wanted to change management?

I missed a court date in 2001, it was for a misdeminor driving offence...driving without a licence, no proof of insurance, bad tags....Okay well there has been 2 other court dates which I didn't know about and missed, There was a warrant, so I spent the day in jail, took care of that, went in as a walk in and had to pay 45 bucks for another warrant, when i didn't even know I had a court date to miss, I have a date on Monday...Like I said, The first one was MY bad, I take full responcibility, and I am curious to know if I will go to jail. I have a family and stuff, and If I would have known I would have gone to this last one in April....-sighs- I really am scared, and I was told its not likely I would go to jail...Please help if you have ANY good advice for me...I want to take care of this!!

Can you take driver's training for a speeding ticket within 18 months in a different county?

I was recently stopped for a speeding violation. While there, the policeman asked if he could look in the car and trunk. I had nothing to hide so I said yes. It seemed like he was giving me a choice, but I think I would have been arrested or given a ticket (I got a written warning) if I didn't let him check out my car.

a friend of mine is in a bind. please give any advice you my have. her mom, who is "old fashioned" has always depended on using cash and has never appllied for a credit card, or needed to apply for a loan, buy a home, or anything that required a credit check. that is until two months ago, when my friends mom and her went to the bank to try and have her mom co-sign for a small business loan. her mom should have been approved right? but the bank said that her credt was very bad. this is when they ordered a report from a credit agency..... they found out that someone in the human resources department of where her mom works that has a known gambling problem used her mom's information to apply for credit and list her name as "AKA". this means that my friends mom would have her credit and her reputaion damaged right?

please help me to help my friend. what can we do about this person who used my friend's mom's identity as her own??????

is this what you call identity theft???
