In most cases, where purses are taken , they want what is easy to take....cash. They then throw your purse in the ditch or dumpster to get it out of their possession. Since you had a cell phone it may have been used, need to have service cut off. As for you personal items you should contact each one and advise of theft. You should live a little wiser due to the fact you are worried about someone coming to your home, although it doesn't usually happen. Check with your homeowners insurance, theft is sometimes covered. Unless someone knows the suspect by his video picture,I doubt he will be caught.

Unless they catch the guy that did it, it is not likely that you will get your stuff back. As far as comming to your house people who steal when the opprotunity is right rarely will enter someones home. But I would suggest that you change your locks (if your keys were in your purse), make sure that windows and doors are locked and have a phone near-by. Make sure to cancel credit cards, bank cards and your cell phone. You may try calling your cell phone number in an effort to find out who has it. Good luck with everything

You can never be to careful! Even if this mishap. had not happened, you should be prepared. Chances are, the guy who stole your purse will dump everything except the cash and credit cards. Always check your surroundings, If you live alone, have friends or family drop by so that you don't appear to be alone. Make sure you always lock your windows and doors when you're not home or before going to bed. Take care!!

Who knows if he's a serial rapist or killer or he's obssessed with you. You'd better not be alone. Change all your locks. Make sure al windows and doors are securely locked and blocked. Have someone stay there with you. Why do the police have the guy on surveillance? They must think he's after you. Did he specifically steal YOUR purse, just yours? If yes, then why? Have you seen him somewhere before?

Just lock your house up and ask neighbors to keep their eyes on your home. Ask the police to keep passing your house to make sure nobody is breaking in. He probably threw your purse in the trash and didn't look at anything but your money and credit cards.
Two boys came to my apartment. They had my purse. They found it down the street and went out of their way to make sure the purse was returned. Just wanted you to know that nice people do exist.

Also be sure to check your credit reports too in a few weeks. Be sure to take lots of precautions since they have your address....bless your heart. I hate damn thieves!
