I would have to agree with the other answers, but would like to make some points clear. Number one hire a lawyer and be completely honesty with him/her (this is very very important). Number two turn yourself in with your lawyer present (but only after talking candidly with your lawyer). If the police have to track you down it looks bad if it goes to court. If there are mitigating circumstances (IE self defense) turning yourself in shows good faith and that you intend to 'face the music'. The most important thing is be HONEST with your lawyer and trust your lawyers judgement. You may spend some time in jail if you can't make bail, if you do make bail be sure to appear for your court dates. Good Luck

Hire a lawyer and tell them the situation. Hire a lawyer, even though you don't want to, don't have the money to, just do it. The prisons are full of people who did not hire a lawyer and plea bargained. Hire a lawyer.

Appear in court for your warrant, you can get a 'free' lawyer' or appear 'pro se' and defend yourself. BE HONEST WITH JUDGE/LAWYER. The peace you have within yourself will be worth it. Follow all guidlines/rules of probation- go to counseling etc...
