Depends on the court. In most jurisdictions, the official line is once every 12 mos, and they mean taken anywhere!

But...some states track it better than others. In CA, you wouldn't get away with having done it elsewhere, but they also have a second level course you can take if you've already gone once.

In TX, they don't know what you did in another county, but they ASK and lying to the court is criminal and can land you in jail.

I have seen prosecutors and judges let people do it again. I have also known people with lawyers who take it over and over and over again, even in the same country.

So...the answer is..."it depends."

You can take it as many times as you want/can afford. However different states have different laws on how often they will accept it. For example in Florida it's one per year and 5 times in a life time.
