Everything seems to be used for analysis, to find the mean curve average...TV....Internet.....I beleive you may be right.
But hey...Cheer up...Humans just aren't that average. Every time they think that they have found the perfect way to market, advertise and co-erce you into buying a chocolate bar, some other spotty face nerd in the future revolutionises the process.
All of this analysis is just a sea of change and in a hundred years...BAH!...Who's gonna' care.

The most severe drawback to the "information age" and availability of information is that the amount of information overwhelms agencies' abilities to analyze it.
Unless an agency was looking at a specific individual, it would be nearly impossible to analyze much of anything on a heavily trafficked website such as Yahoo.

i think maybe you are just paranoid, however it is very possible to judge a persons character based on the questions they ask and answer.
id like to think our online activity is relatively private, but we have knowen for quite a long time that some websites store user information, and pass that information onto other authorities.
my advice, keep it clean and keep it simple, but dont take it too serious

A little PARANOID, are we?
I'm sure it's possible, but I doubt it. There are far more effective ways the government can spy on us and profile us than by "Yahoo Answers".
E-mails and phone conversations are far more private and suspect. Especially with millions of "How do I make my hair more curly?" type of crappy questions.
