In Australia...they only take prints if the baby dies. I made them take foot prints anyway and now my babies prints are on most surfaces of the house.

Can you imagine them trying to do such little fingers? They'd break them!
They only do footprints. Your footprint is the same as your mother's thumbprint. Siblings that have the same mother, have the same footprint pattern.

Hand and foot,however these need to be updated often,on small children.They are ever changing,plus they look like little shrunken aliens when they are born.

only footprints are taken as the hand is too small and the fingers are too smooth to see any specific lines....
