I was at Target last night, around the home section and I feel something on my shoe, so I turn around, and theres a brown pile of something in the middle of the isle. I pick my shoe up and smell it to see what it was, it was poop. It made me very sick and I was really dissapointed that, that happened. So, I go to tell a manager, and my boyfriend was more angry about it than anyone else, and we told her about that and how it was completely rediculous and they should do something for us because of it. So she told us, "Why, what do you want, a apology?" As rude as she could. ..and said "Well its not our fault, thats the customers fault." I've been in retail business, and the customer ALWAYS comes first! So should I call the Target Corporate office and go talk to a lawyer? Need some advice.

I noticed that the US depends a lot on militias abroad . they even gave Saddame Husain to a miltia to hang him and US officials move aroud in Baghdad not under the protection of thier army but under the protection of a security company called Blackwater which practically has a militia . where this idea come from ? is it only a reflection that what rules the US is militias without people feeling it ?

Hey guys. My roommate got arrested for possession of a stolen tricycle last night. He was bailed out this morning out of the local county jail. He does have a court date at the end of the month. My question is, can the school turn around and say "we don't want you here anymore"? And if so, how long does he have to wait?

Today is Sunday, so I'm assuming college offices are closed for the weekend. What do you think the college will do to him?

I have neighborhood children that like to play in my yard and I would welcome them, but I'm afraid that if they get hurt, I could get sued. I was told that I could get a Release from Liability form, but I'm not having any luck finding one. Help?? I just want to be safe not sorry.

I have applied at a college and when they did my background check, an arrest for Assault showed up. I was not guilty, and the charges were dismissed from the judge. The school is investigating this further but since they already offered me the job with a letter, since I am innocent and was only arrested, is it illegal if they take back their job offer????

It's from the managment company that manages the flats where I live. It was for an unpaid service charge, but I paid it and they still instructed solicitors and it went to court. The court struck off the case because they didnt respond to their requests. Each time the service charge is due now they send a request for about £300 for the costs but I havent paid it but im worried in case I am legally obliged to.

We have been often told that one of the great economic burdens of our time is people living longer, costing both in terms of health costs and pensions. Action being taken is the raising of the retirement age and less generous pension terms.

On the other hand we are told that obesity and smoking are a big burden on the health service. It seems to be forgotten that these health issues actually save society money due to people dying earlier.

I am not saying that obesity and smoking are not important public health issues but does the UK establishment have to practise duplicity in the presentation of cost figures?

I wont get into the MANY good reasons to have an abortion, but I will remind people there are 6 billion people on the planet. This fact and future procreation dictates we better do something, its clear the earth wont support this ramp-it birthing. I don't like the practice of partial- birth abortion unless the infant is going to be born all messed up like (non functional). I don't like abortion on demand, as a contraceptive. Now heres the rub, the people who are religious and cant get their minds aruond the overwhelming benefits of abortion, don't want contraception either. Please don't give me abstinence, its a joke that flys in the face of human nature.
