I wont get into the MANY good reasons to have an abortion, but I will remind people there are 6 billion people on the planet. This fact and future procreation dictates we better do something, its clear the earth wont support this ramp-it birthing. I don't like the practice of partial- birth abortion unless the infant is going to be born all messed up like (non functional). I don't like abortion on demand, as a contraceptive. Now heres the rub, the people who are religious and cant get their minds aruond the overwhelming benefits of abortion, don't want contraception either. Please don't give me abstinence, its a joke that flys in the face of human nature.

I agree somewhat, not necessarily with having an abortion, but the fact that some people are very head in the clouds. Dont teach birth control or safe sex practices, it will make kids have sex......but only teach abstinence, HA! BS to me, kids have sex, there are the ones who do practice abstinence, big huge AMEN goes out to you few that are out there, not any college kids i ever knew.Kids need direction, if they dont have it, just a big DONT, well what do they do? They do whatever you told them not to. So, on with the abortion conversation, i dont "agree" with abortion, nor am i "pro" abortion i think it is a personal choice. and its also a personal choice to let your kids take (or at least teach them yourself)sex ed or not, well, i think those who dont are ignorant, and really really sad, because its a natural experimental part of life, and if you dont explain anything, well they are going to see for themselves.education is key, for every single person on this planet. and if people who do not see that, they are extremely stupid.and they will see when their 14 yr old comes up pregnant.hmmm...how did that happen? well, the parents just simply told them "not to do it"

You throw abortion out there I'm going to throw abstinence out there. Abstinence is not a joke, it's a courageous thing to do, and if people practiced it, there would be a lot less people in this so called planet that you speak of. That's the real root of the problem isnt it?? Men cant keep their business in their pants, and women cant resist it. You stop this, so stop a lot more problems in this world like abortion, STD's, divorce, etc.... Your the joke that you can play around with human life like its an inconvience to you. Shame on you!!!

The over population of earth is not going to be helped by abortion. Most of the over population comes from 3rd world countries that do not have the access that we have to birth control. I do not think that abortion is the answer to this in anyway. Prevention is a good method and it would help over population if the countries that did not have access to birth control were able to get it.

There's no way that would fly... religion is way too powerful in people's lives. Besides you don't have to use abortion, just use your brain! Prevent conception in the first place.

If that doesn't work then we can always use AIDS, war, genocide, and famine to help control population.

It IS NOT clear that the earth will not support 'rampant birthing'. 50 years ago 'scientists' believed the earth would never support its CURRENT population. We know support MORE people with LESS resources than those 'scientists' thought possible. That FACT makes your question meaningless at best and fraudulent at worst.

It should not be a law it's a choice an individual/couple makes they are the one who will have to live with that decision the rest of their lives. Why make it a law yeah!! let's give the government more control over OUR lives.
