Can somebody please explain this statement to me?
And do you agree with it? or disagree.

Well, let's say that the government decided that from now on people of Jewish faith must wear a gold Star of David pinned to their lapel.
You're not Jewish, so it doesn't affect your freedom.

Then the government decides that anyone who is a Lutheran must wear a purple crucifix on their lapel.
You're Lutheran, so it affects your freedom.

It means communism doesn't work. If there is a dictator/monarchy saying who does what then only certain people’s freedom is secure, right? But, if everyone is not treated equally than we have a society that no longer accepts that it was their Creator that endowed them with their freedom. At that point, it is up to a man/form of government to ration freedom as he sees fit and at that point it’s no longer safe and stable. If you govern the freedom of men and women on the fact that an unseen greater power has given freedom to us and we were born with it then everyone is safe and no one can control the freedom without force! America is a great place.
