I am a single female living alone in a house I bought a 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I have a neighbor who has been harassing me since the day I closed on the house from removing all my trees to putting up a fence in my yard. I have what I believe to be enough proof and details revolving around this scenerio to file for harassment, however, it's very costly and time consuming and I would rather hope that such an order as a "do not contact" order would put him in a position to relinquish his aggressiveness towards me. He has had many problems in the past with other surrounding neighbors but chooses to focus on me as I believe he does not like it when I do not respond to him or his efforts to control every situation that is none of his business. Everything I have done on my property has been through the city's approval. He justifies his reaction to each update I make to my house by my lack of communication with him. What can I do here to have some peace?

As in standing on the street or in a public place asking for handouts and making up stories saying why you could use some money.

Cause I ran into 2 beggers this week, some 40 year old trashy guy in a deli parking lot saying he needs gas money, and a girl at the mall just wineing about how she needed a few extra bucks so she can buy clothes.

In U.S.legal context, narcotic refers to opium, opium derivatives, and their semi-synthetic or fully synthetic substitutes "as well as cocaine and coca leaves," which although classified as "narcotics" in the U.S. Controlled Substances Act (CSA), are chemically not narcotics. Contrary to popular belief, marijuana is not a narcotic. Neither are LSD and other psychedelic drugs.[4]

Many law enforcement officials in the United States inaccurately use the word "narcotic" to refer to any illegal drug or any unlawfully possessed drug.

Ok so my friends son came home from school and asked him who he was going to vote for and his dad says I don't know yet I am still looking into this and his son said because my teacher said that everyone should be voting for Obama!
I personally agree with the right to free speech but when you are a teacher and are molding the minds of young children, I think you have a right to act responsibly and neutral unless asked outside the arena of teaching. Anyone else agree with me? I mean a kid got in trouble last week for wearing a John Edwards T-shirt but this lady can just bust out with "everyone should vote for Obama?" How do you all feel about this? What would you do /say if this was your kid. I mean when I vote I will tell someone who I voted for if they ask but I don't think what she did was right. I would never try to influence someone elses decision about something like this. how do you feel?

Why or why not?
Do u think this is a sin, immoral?
Is there any real solutions for it?
Consider:
We all know that the death of a family or friend is the least experience we want to go trough. Yet the risk of it is always there....So___________________________________

Alright. So I answered my last question as to if normal Airsoft guns are legal in New York City. No. Law states that the possession of any air gun or airsoft gun that is painted black or metallic and is spring operated or gas operated is highly unlawful. However, it also states that the guns may be clear or brightly colored. Now I found a few guns online that are clear and are electricaly operated and I asked if they are allowed to ship to NYC. No response. So before I order I want to ask you guys, could I be able to buy an Airsoft gun that is clear and electricaly powered without the UPS guys x-raying it and sending a S.W.A.T team to my house? Thanks in advance.

Again, from a technical standpoint are there restrictions on appointments to the supreme court and/or federal judiciary? Obviously, from a practical standpoint, a judge or lawyer is preferred and some states do have legislation on this subject. However, I was wondering about the feds.

Thanks.

I know that the legal age in some other states is 16 or 17 or sometimes 20. I was wondering what age you had to be in kansas in order to be considered an adult. I believe it is 16 but I just want to be sure.

"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

"We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California," said Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute.

"With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."
