i'm writing a paper on why marijuana should remain illegal. i would just like to hear some of your thoughts. thanks :]

just legalize the crap already .. so much more people would be so much more relaxed.. more relaxed =less crime

they made it illegal because they thought blacks and Mexicans went crazy on it and did crimes. that's why.its illegal.we should as a nation get past racism.
Its a frigging weed for Gods sake and people have .well they should have a right It put any darn thing they wish to in their body's as long as its not hurting someone else..my people have been smoking it for 1000s of years.processed refined plants that get a person high should be illegal, natural ways to commune with the great spirit should of course be legal.i dont smoke it anymore but we should have rights to smoke it.if everyone who smoked it would take to the streets and protest then it would get legilized.Peace

Keeping pot illegal is big business.
I don't do it but see it as less harmful then alcohol.
There is so much money in keeping pot illegal that the government will not go willingly to legalize it.

Suppose they legalize marijuana use; would they limit the amount of THC or would they just let the killer $#!+ just get more and more potent?
Eventually, either the THC levels would be so dangerous that new users would be in serious peril or the problems with regulating the THC level would prove impossible to contain.

i think that's a bad idea. did you know that a person who is arrested for selling marijuana spends more time in jail then most people who are arrested for raping a child? how is that right?

It could lead to rougher drugs, impairs your ability to do operate heavy vehicles, and smells crappy.
That's all I can think of, I have more arguments of why it should be legal.

if it were legal, kids wouldn't have to be exposed to harsher and more addictive drugs through street thugs....
LEGALIZE IT !
