From now on if a man is caught kerb crawling he will be criminally charged. OMG! In Europe prostitution is quite legal and has reduced the amount of sex crimes in these countries.
The girls are checked over by a doctor every month and if they pass the tests they are given permission to work and if they fail they can't until they do.
The girls work in a designated area which is policed and regulated so the girls are safe as are the people who wish frequent it.
I know this is an emotive subject but I believe a lot of relationships could be saved by this. Women lose their libido too and some men have unusual fetishes that their partners can't fulfill. Wouldn't it be better if these people could have their natural urges satisfied in a safe and clean environment instead of risking their (and their partners) health?
Should the government think about this?

He was in for 3 years he was caught transporting weed and coke. He does not do drugs and was not selling them either--he needed money and he chose the wrong way of going about it. He has 3 kids --the mother is not in the picture--his mother has custody because he just got out of prison--he lives with his mother and is taking care of his children. He has a stable honest job now. He knows what he did was stupid--and has learned from his mistakes. My ex husband does not want our child around him. My child spent some time with him and his kids before my ex put his foot down. My child really cliked with him amd his children. I know that it will take some time for him to earn people trust back because of what he did. Everyone makes stupid mistakes. I don't feel he is any harm to me or my child.

Man my questions are valid, I don't have the authority to judge anyone or anything. I had a good friend that was quite premisqueous in a selective way and that's cool. But this person regarded themselves as that. Well in other terms, SL*T, whore, gigalo, etc. We can't take two wires with a negative charge and plug them and expect a flow. We have tried to bend the laws of this place for a long time and that's fine, great, but lets call it thatl; even (if you believe in one) the creator has to most of the time abide by these laws;otherwise the system is unbalanced. If anyone's seen Monty Pythons, "Life of Brian", a character that is a member of the resistance against the romans: "Judaen People's Front" or is it "People's Front of Judea"? "Loretta" is a "Woman trapped inside a mans body" and wnats to have the rights to have babys, and the argument is that Loretta can't and then why ask for the right? CON'T>

I'm very curious as to why some or many folks cease going to church service sometime in their lives.
In my case, an avid catholic church goer, I got real turned off when our priests started delving into politics on a regular basis! Every sunday they preached about abortion and were actually suggesting in 2004 who we should vote for president depending on who was anti choice. Our forefathers clearly intended for our churches to stay away from making govt. policy and in return they could aquire land for their churches without paying land taxes. Look at the huge churches being built today in prime real estate property and they are preaching politics from the pulpit and making policy right alongside our public figures! We should discontinue giving them tax breaks on land. Maybe paying back taxes on those huge pieces of land!! That would make them think twice about meddling into politics and contributing to the anti-choice candidates. That's why I decided to quit attending services.

Say you can't have both, although that would be ideal.

If you were considering breaking the law, would you be more likely to commit the crime if you KNEW you were going to get caught, but the punishment wouldn't be that severe (interpret for yourself)?

Or would you be more likely to commit the crime if there was a chance you would get away with it, but any punishment WOULD be extremely severe (interpret for yourself)?

Think back to disobeying your parents as a teenager if that helps.

to conduct the search and did not call the police to conduct the search.

One could argue that it is the responsibilty of the principal to provide and orderly and safe envoirnment. Although students have a right to privacy this expectation can be diminished in certain cirumstances. If the teacher has reasonable beliefs that drugs may be found on a student it is not in the schools best interest to request a warrant beforehand.

On the other hand, it is argued that if the search was conducted by police it would of been unreasonable because they did not have a warrant, therefore the evidence should be excluded. The court should decided whether they search should be conducted not a teacher since they are not fully versed with the practices of law and cannot insure and objective search. Schools have a duty to foster consititutional rights, and there is no compelling evidence that schools require a lower standard.

If a person was convicted because of this should an appeal be allowed?

At what point must society look at the crime independently of the criminal to dispense justice? Should the punishment be exactly the same for somebody with NO record as it is for somebody with a history of criminal behavior?

Or at what point must society punish the criminal for repeated offenses, regardless of the crime committed?

Is one seen as justice for society (fitting the criminal) rather than justice for the criminal (fitting the crime)?

And if the punishment must fit both, how can this be accomplished?

Would the US Supreme Court make a ruling that was not approved by the Mexican Supreme Court concerning immigration unless it was about something that was clearly illegal or non-humanitarian?
Are Mexican immigrants clearly illegal?
Do the supreme courts rule on the humanitarian level and the politicians lie, cheat and steal to get into, or stay, in office on the "parking ticket" level?

I'm contemplating challenging a charge of disorderly conduct for handing alcohol to a minor "creating a hazardous condition", by pleading not guilty and appearing before the magisterial district judge.

So what happens when I go to court? Do I just plead my case to the judge, and then he decides whether or not I have to pay it? Is that it?

My case is...

My girlfriend (the minor) only touched a bag with wine for only a second.

I really doubt the officers could have actually seen her touch it, based on where they were in relation to us as it happened.

And they were going to charge her with wanting me to get her wine and for giving me money to do so. Even though we both told them she never did when they first questioned us.

What do you think?

Then my girlfriend heard she could loose her license by pleading guilty to, possessing alcohol. And that I could possibly loose mine for challenging my charge. Could we? We only received fines and were ordered no court dates.

my ex and i decided on a custody plan. i got all the paper work from his lawyer in the mail on Friday i dont completely understand it all and according to his lawyer i cant ask him becuase he represents my ex. i talked to my tax lady cause the papers say i can claim her as a dependent this year and he can claim head of household, but he has to have her a certain amount of days to do that, she was born in July and resides with me in October we started the 50/50 custody, my question is if i called like legal aid or some place that offers free lawyers would they sit down and explain everything to me i'm not looking for someone to represent me, just look things over cause i dont think its very fair he could claim head of household when she was with me most the year until half the time this month. i'm just confused. he already got off easy and only has to pay 55 dollars a month in child support...help!

A grand total of $180 and did ZERO work. Didn't even take out the garbage once. Yesterday I threw all his stuff out on the driveway and he still hasn't gotten it yet. He was only supposed to be staying there a few days in the beginning and then it turned into excuse after excuse. I found one of his pay stubs and realized that he's been full of **** this whole time and probably saving money. He didn't even buy groceries once in 11 weeks.

So am I right about this or what? Thoughts?

I have been very disappointed in the way that the U.S. Supreme Court sits in lofty debate on other issues while avoiding constrasting 2nd Amendment rulings at the circuit court level.

Resolve the issue and be done with it. This is their job and they owe it to all Americans.

I called ther NYC police. There were no witnesses to this accident on a residential street However, the 93 year old lied to the cops in private and told them I opened the door. I was in fact, closing the door to drive to a doctor's appointment some 40 minutes later. I am also a senior citizen.

The police report came out stating the " As car door open, driver ( The old lady) hit the parked car. Her insurance compnay refuses to pay a cent, So I am in small claims court in 2 weeks.

Does Yahoo coustomer services actually have any adults working there, I seriously believe they are all 6-8 years olds with no common sence whatever. This may get me deleted, but I don't care. I have received violation notices for saying my wife (from Alabama does not have any common sense), I told one asker that started a Bush hatred rant that he needed another glass of Kool-Aid, and I said they should throw the book at the Kid that beat the wihie guy up with his 6 buddies in the Jena 6 because it was raciest black on white hate and not related to the Noose incident...I reported one person about 10-12 times last night just to see if they actually read the reports or just send out violations. I don't care if they deleat me or not, they just need to hire a couple adults with common sense to oversee the children working there...Yes this is a rant, go ahead and report me, what can it matter.........########
