Pres Bush would only allow Cheney's company Halliburton to bid on meals for troops in Iraq. This is not legal....How much could Bush be getting under the table? This is one of the most disgraceful
acts any president ever pulled. and i voted for this guy.......he wouldn't make a pimple on his father's ***.

When I was a kid, I was always cained at School. I found it hard to concentrate but overall I am glad I was cained at school.

Is it cool to be cained at school?

First off, when a person is charged with a crime, is it public record? Second, where would one go to see a listing of charges for a county or city?

I am curious because I am pretty sure someone in my neighborhood has been charged with a crime, and I was wondering if this is something I can find out online.

ok. it's a bit of a strange question. I have social phobia and am slightly autistic. The truth is I am stopped more often by police then other people. In the shops, airports... a police car even pulled over because I was "looking differently".

Yep, if your shy and looking at the ground. If you avoid eye contact like people with autistic traits do... you are acting "suspicious". It doesn't seem fair though that I should be stopped by the police more often because I have a mental disorder.

I guess there really is a thin line between my behavor and the real criminals out there? Isn't there?

I ordered a jump drive from an online store last month. The product was shipped an the transaction was closed. Now a month later I receive an email from the company saying they have finished processing my order and are waiting to ship my item. This is the same jump drive I ordered a month ago. I checked my credit card statement and I have not been charged this month for anything.

Do I contact the company and tell them they made a mistake and are going to send me a jump drive for free? Do I keep quiet and receive a free jump drive? If I keep quiet do I risk falling in to legal trouble later in the future?

This is similar to if you are given too much change at a store you can get into legal trouble if you do not tell the cashier they made a mistake.

HI There, We recently purchased a house in an area we believed to be quiet and without many social issues. We asked the vendors if there were any problems in the neighbourhood and were told it was a very quiet area and they were very sorry to leave. Four weeks after moving in we have been informed by one of our new neighbours that the previous owners had a huge problem with a family that lived at the rear of the property who put windows through, broke into their shed on numerous occasions and generally caused a headache throughout the entire neighbourhood. We moved to this area to get away from this kind of problem and discussed this with the vendors when viewing the property - but the issue was never disclosed to us. Would we have any redress financially from the vendors in a situation such as this - especially as we wouldnt have paid as much for the property or even purchased it at all if we had known the real situation as the family in question are still causing havoc in this area.

I have been working for my current employee for two years now. I would like to file a harassment lawsuit against the company due to fact that my co-worker has been harassing me non stop, in which the company knows about it but, wont do anything due to the fact that she has been on the job for about 19 or 20 years. The president of the company has say things to me like, "dont worry about it", "she's just in a bad mood", "she's having woman problems" (she did have surgery). Nothing but excuses for me to not get upset or take it personally or offensivly. I'm sick of it and really tired of coming to work feeling uncomfortable. Sometimes I would just sit in my office and cry. I think its really bad, that people think they could treat people any kind of way they want and feel they could get away with it. The crazy thing about it, is that she only treats me this way. None of my other co-workers gets the treatment. What steps do I take to file the suit. What type of evidence do I need?

I'm in the same situation as others - trying to cancel my DirecTV service however I don't see why I should have to pay the fee. When I got the service I was told that there are cancellation loopholes - residences where dishes are not allowed and etc. My concern comes from holding up the truth. I inquired about the cancellation procedure - receiver return and such. To my surprise I was being quoted the fee babble. After heated debate the rep. stated that a dish can be put anywhere, including condo buildings and started quoting FCC regulations at me. I was told that the dish could be on the tripod on the roof, on a balcony, or attached to the wall outside. The Aha - I'm moving to a 30 floor condo building (I'm no where need the top), no balconies, & roof pool (that is the top level). I checked FCC & according to what they say I shouldn't have to pay, but DTV thinks I should pay. What is the best way to tackle the issue?

I mean, you're basically paying men and women to have sex. The only difference is that they're having it on camera and the resulting video is being sold to make money. Why isn't that considered prostitution, the web definition of which is "the act or practice of engaging in sex acts for hire?" Does the mere fact that this is a multi billion dollar industry excuse it from being labelled as prostitution and therefore illegal? Why is prostitution illegal in California when its San Fernando Valley is the porn capital of the world? This is not a moral question for me but a legal one.

I work in the state of New Jersey.
Although the club they are promoting runs from 3 to 4, I feel very uncomfortable distributing this information to students, some of who are of Islamic faith. Although I would rather not disclose my own beliefs on religion, can they impose this demand on me to distribute a flyer with the phrases " a better of understanding of who God is" ,or " building a stronger relationship with God" on it. I feel boundaries are being stretched. All the staff are not involved in the club nor are they all followers of Chrisitanity. By contract we don't leave work until 4 pm so is there any violation on behalf of the school.
