I TOOK A FMLA AT WORK AND I WAS TOLD THAT IT WILL EXPIRE AFTER 14 WEEKS OF APPLYING FOR IT. NOW IM ALSO WAITING FOR MY WORKMANS COMP CASE TO BE DENIED OR ACCEPTED, BUT IN THE MEAN TIME ALL MY TREATING DR'S STATE THAT I CAN'T BE RELEASED TO WORK YET..I HAVE GIVEN MY EMPLOYER THE DR' NOTES EXCUSING ME FROM WORK, BUT I WAS TOLD IF I EXHAUSTED MY FMLA I WOULD BE TERMINATED...NOV 1ST IS THE LAST DAY OF MY FMLA..CAN I BE TERMINATED EVEN THOUGH I HAVE DR NOTES?

Yes. FMLA has limits. You have reached the end.

This is true..

FMLA protects your job for a reasonable amount of time that has been set up by the doctors..

they can bring ou back on light duty, if you refuse..it is considered that you quit while on medical leave.

I have a chronic illness and I am very familiar wth the FMLA laws and ethics.

Sounds to me like somebody is looking for a free ride and somebody's "employer" is fed up. Go to work and stop trying to get a free meal. And yes, you can be fired for abusing FMLA.

Yes. But since you've already filed for WC that case will continue from the date you filed.

Go get a lawyer now.You dont have to pay some lawyers up front until you get paid.I went through a similar situation.If you have doctors notes then they cant neccesarilly fire you.Just get a lawyer.

it is call a working contract with a timetable foryou proformance and yes they can do that it is legal
