I was just wondering.

Sort of. The court decides which parent should have custody and what visitation is appropriate etc based on what is best for the child(ren). In many states the judge will take input from the child(ren) once they reach the age of 12. However they certainly are not bound by the wishes of the child.

If both parents agree and there are no restrictions (protection order etc) then they can allow this on their own.

It is possible for a mature 16 year old to pursue emancipation. In that case they are the only ones who have a say in where they live. It all depends on the state in which the child lives. It is a last resort. It might be better to talk about it with your parents/guardians.

i think there is. you can divorce your parents if is that serious. but you should be able to pick, and if it takes a judge to say where, you just have to convince the judge that is the best thing for you. and it has to be a really good reason why you don't want to live with who you,live with now and andnwhy is it the best thing for you to loive with who you want to live with. don't even have to get the divorce though, thats kinda harsh.
