If a picture of your house would provide evidence to backup the request for the search warrant they might.

Possibly -- one of the warrant requirements is that the house is properly identified -- and being able to point to a photograph would be one good way to ensure that the application for the warrant properly identifies the premises to be searched.

I don't think the judge signing the warrant cares what your house looks like.

no, that doesnt sound right...
Maybe an EX is up to something.......I would be really careful and have this checked out!
