are you liable for unemployment benefits if you left a company due to sexual harrassment by your supervisor? i know it varies from state to state, i live in the state of massachusetts.

I think you mean are you eligible for unemployment and the answer is "perhaps." If the work environment was so hostile you had to quit, you can claim "constructive discharge." You will have to show the conditions were so bad that a reasonable person could not be expected to tolerate it. If you were sexually harassed, you should contact your state department of labor or the fed'l EEOC and file an action against the company. If you were sexually harassed, you'll get a government attorney to file on your behalf and may be able to collect damages.

If you quit, you will probably have a problem claiming unemployment. There are other avenues to pursue (legal) to stop harrassment.
