I use AdBlock Plus on my FireFox, and I read an op-ed on cNet that adblocking is unethical because it deprives the original website of advertising money, which can lead it to shut down. I'm not sure what to think, on one hand, websites do often rely on ads, but on the other hand, isn't it like getting up in the middle of a TV commercial?

terms are misused, such as: jewish b*tard to mean being mean, nationalist or nazi as an insult, commy, for the same insult, pervert as a term of reference - just meaning an ab reaction. Is not "God bless America!" a nationalist term, for example?
Democracy is a waste of time. Just for opinionated bigots! Now they even want the little Madeliene to turn up dead and the parents to be blamed, just for drama.

One friend of mine got into a fight with his wife. She poured sugar into the gas tank of his car and to make sure the job got done right she drove it around the block until the engine blew.

Another friend of mine was looking at porno pictures and talking to girls on myspace. His girlfriend grabbed his brand new $1,500 laptop. Said she HATES computers and slammed it onto the floor. Ofcourse breaking it in half.
He's a heavy weight boxer and doesn't hit women so he goes out to her car and starts smashing her car with a baseball bat.

Another girl I know crashed her boyfriends BMW that he (let her use) on purpose and totaled it!

This seems to be popular way for women to get revenge.

I've never heard of a woman that got into trouble after pulling something like this off!

Has anyone ever heard of a woman that got sued for this? What happened?

what happened was i got a ticket for expired plates on my car, but i was on my way to a safety inspection. so i go to court for this to fight it and i don't think it is going to be that big of deal, but then when i talk to the prosocuter she says i can either pay the fine or come back with my registration and it will be dismissed. so i said whatever and talked to the judge to get a new court date and he tells me that even if its dismissed i will still have to pay the court costs of $60. i don't think this is right because if your offence was dismissed then that means your not guilty and i don't think you should have to pay any thing, but they acted like no matter what that you still have to pay court costs.

also now i am not going to be able to get my registration in time, but i don't think that should matter cause i don't think what i did was anything wrong, i mean how else are you supposed to get to a safety inspection without driving there?

lawyers only please.

My daughter and her husband are going thru a rough patch. So my daughter decided to move out and buy a house on her own. Everything was going fine until we found that her husband also has to sign a waiver form on the property. Not sure who is responsible to notify us regarding this but We were not aware of this until the last moment. Now my son-in-law is not ready to sign the waiver. Now the seller and his agent are planning to sue my daughter because we are unable to close the escrow. We tried to negotiate with my son-in-law but things did not go well. Can anyone help us here and tell us the options we have right now. we certainly dont want the lawsuit and we are already losing money that was paid as deposit for the contingency period...

I been getting them for the past 10 years now. Every year afterwards after serving, they tell me that I have served my time. Yet they send me another jury duty summons the very next year. Is this legal? Is this considered to be harassment. I I live in Alameda County.

I just got done watching a news segment about a small cemetary being vandalized. About 20 headstones were tipped over. What goes through some of these peoples heads? People that do these things need some serious counseling. I think community service is a little too easy for a punishment of this crime. I think whoever is caught should wear a sandwich board that says "I Vandalize Cemetaries" in front of a funeral home during a service, or a retirement home. That way people will humiliate them, and then a lesson might be learned.

I take intermitten FLMA leave for migrane headaches. My boss has been docking my monthly attendance bonus for the past 2 years. I also get comments about my attendance issues. They constantly say things like the next supervisor job is coming open and you should take care of your attendance issues. Is this right the way that they treat me and or legal? Also I was told people have no excuse to miss work FMLA or not they should be at work everyday.

Sometimes I wonder if the United States is actually under the direction of our President, or a board of Syndicates made up of these little Jewish guys. Not that I'm complaining, but it seems all the jewish people I have ever met in my life hold very prominent positions such as teachers, many lawyers, judges etc. Now it may be that these fine people have taken such a beaten in life that they carry an incredible work ethic that puts all other nationalities to shame. At any rate my theory cant be true because Jewish people would never make the idiot mistakes this president has made.

Me and my friend got an apartment together a few months ago, we agreed to each pay half of the rent each month. He lost his job about a month ago, and he doesn't have any money for this months rent. He is supposedly looking for a job now... I was just wondering what my legal rights are? Is there anything I can do under the law to make him pay half the rent?
