I am in a club in high school, and for club day and cultural food day we can sell food to raise money. Two years ago I came up with the idea for churros, and each time we sold out. Therefore it is our club thing to sell churros. Last year the president of our club graduated, and so this year we are responsible for club affairs. We were obviously planning to do churros, but then we heard that robotics club is doing it, because our former club president's sister who is in my grade suggested it. And they got the choice because they turned in their slip first. So I was wondering if it is called plagiarism if another person steals your idea. I am just curious...

I mean the one-year rule in California. Are you fined? Or is your license taken away? The rule is that you can't drive passengers around if you're under 18 and haven't had your license for a year yet. You can only take passengers who are at least 25 and have a valid CA license. What happens if you get caught?

Ok, I'm 99% sure this is a scam so I'm not going to do it anyway, but I just received a letter from Universal Worldwide Lotto that says I won some lottery blah blah blah. Here's the kicker though: it included a check for 3,375.00 to help me clear a fee of 3,245.00. Like, what the hell?

i was told i was adopted in 1973 but the date filed is 1970 how is that possible that i was legally adopted in 1973 when it shows it was on file in 1970?? how does it have my adoptive parents name on the paper legally if i wasnt adopted until1973? how did they file it 10--25--1970? i was born 10-18-1970? my adoptive parents told me i was 3 when they adopted me? wouldnt the birth certificate say 10-18-1973> not 10-26-1970??????????they would have had to adopt me first to be able to add their names to the birth certificate. so they had me at 9 days old and legally adopted. not like the 3 years like they said. it took to adopt me. doesnt it take time to adopt a baby. how were they able to adopt me in 9 days????????? does this makes sense???????/

I am aware that drunks have caused deaths on the roads, but I am also aware that more deaths are caused by people who are sober or unlicensed.

This has always been the case.

Thoughts?

There was no written contract (it was an amiable agreement)- and the bank records stop seven years ago. The borrower denies ever having gotten the money but the lender is sure they lent it.

My girlfrined got involved with an out of work actor. he claims that the reasdon he does notnhave a license is because of failure to pay child support. We have been told that in california
courts want men to get to work to earn the support and do not take them away entirely...just restrict them. any ideas?
he drinks a lot...a real winner.

My husband rearended a lady going about 15 mph. We agreed to fix the ladies bumper and the body shop estimated $800. She has came up with 2 new problems that the body shop do not see as "our" problem it was just normal wear and tare on her vehicle seeing its a 95. So, she called me today saying something else was wrong and then she started yelling at me and i told her would could settle it with a lawyer since she would not let me speak. I was calm and rational with her. Then, i hung up not wanting things to get worse. She called my husbands work today and told them that it happened and he can possibly loose his job since they did not report it since it was a company truck. If he looses his job we make them pay for the repairs. Any one have any thing that may help save his job??

I'm not sure wether this is prostitution or not.

I'm a junior in highschool and today at lunch a freshman near the section i sat at was asking for money for his services. When he came up to my lunch table, he ask he'll eat anything out of the ordinary for a dollar or more. Anything out of the ordinary for him is chips with juice and cheese, pizza with paper and other stuff or the worst of all milk with spit and some other crap.

So i'm wondering would that be considered prostitution or will it be considered something else because i'm going to report it to the ***. principle because it really wasn't a right thing to do.

My mom thinks that if my sons father dies that my son will get a LOT of social security money a month - like between $3000 - $7000 a month. I live in Michigan, my son is only 3. His dad is not in his life much but paternity has been established and there is a court order giving me sole physical and legal custody. How do they determine if the child receives social security and how do they determine how much???

Thanks in advance!

This may be long but I need help, please read. Ok, I have had this credit card for 3 years. I always paid them on time until I got into a real financial trouble. I was in an accident, in and out of doctors, missing a lot of work. I couldn't pay them. Then when I was getting a little things worked out & was able to pay, I logged onto their website & it said they had been bought out by another company & gave their phone number. I called them and they were very rude and would not set up payment arrangements with them for less than $100 a month. I couldn't do that. I explained my situation to them & they said they couldn't do it. I ask them for a mailing address so that I could send them payments when I could and they would not do that. They said they couldn't accept anything less than $100 so I told them well I don't know what to do & they said they would turn it over to a collections agency so I said ok, do what you gotta do. Then today someone from Apex called me & said it's
