yeah, my mom has, she divorced my dad 12 years ago and was told she qualifed for legal aid, since then she has gone on to buy her own house, now they have found out, and want all there legal fee's again when she sells the house!

Not them , but another firm Woodfine's. I thought that solicitors had to act within the law? How wrong. Just goes to show that money can buy you the way out of trouble even if the letter of the law says other wise. Yes I am still bitter , come on, I was evicted while in hospital , without notice , court order and by someone that turned out not to have been my landlord , and my Council did nothing , well there solicitors were the same as the so called landlord , what I could not work out , was why did they say they whould act for me , then changed there minds. Now I know to save the so called landlord money , well he is a close freind of the local MP and more than likly sleeping with the Council

It wouldn't surprise me to discover that somebody has. In fact I get the impression that you've had bad experiences with them. But surely not all of them.
