As a counsellor, I have been approached by a woman working as a prostitute who seeks counselling, which I am more than happy to provide. But I would like to clarify: as I know for a fact that her money has been earned illegally, am I in turn breaking the law by accepting that money?

i understand that it is in the constitution that every man has the right to bare arms, but, surely the american people can see the connection between this and the fact that they have one of the highest murder rates in the world. and surely they should distinguish between a (semi) automatic machine gun and a single shot hunting rifle.

I have many reports against him, vandalism, harrasment, threatening, etc. Police say, did you see him? It doesnt matter cause I dont know where he is to put a restraining order against him. (the judge told me) I bought security cams and vcr to hopfully 'catch' him for the police. Shouldnt they be more concerned? I even relocated to hide from him and he Still found me again. I, myself, am not worried but I have children and a husband that is away for a few months. ( plus he has vandalised 3 of my vehicle, yes police were notified ) What are my options, how can I stop him?! Please help too many years this has went on.

my landlord gave me a 30 day notice last month, were in the process of buying a house, we still have not found a house yet. This landlord said she sold the house and the owner want the house vacant, well i call the agent that is representing her house and he told me that the house was still up for sale ( which the landlord lied) anyway every other day she is charassing us to move, we have to get out. i told her to go to the court and i will asked the judge for more time. i lived in this house with my husband and 3kids, we have always payed our rent on time each month for the past 2years that we lived here. We can not get along with the landlord because she is constantly coming in our house when we are not there, what angers me the most is one of my husband friends was in our apt and my husband went down the block and sure enough the landlord came in to our apt and was on her way in to our bedroom, when she notice my husband friend was in the apt, a place like my bedroom so private

I work for a campus newspaper, and whenever I can I ask permission from music artists/recording companies to use pictures from their websites, and they often have a 'media' section that I can access. Once in awhile though, they do not have a media section, and I can't get ahold of them. (Especially when dealing with really popular artists.)

What are the copyright laws about taking pictures from, for example, Google Images and using them in my publication?

Parking at employer site is inadequate. Employer has arranged for valet service to park employees' and customers' cars at a nearby site. Can employer force employees to use the valet service? No other alternative has been offered the employees aside from the workers parking the cars at the new location themselves and finding their own way back to work. By the way, the new parking location is a bit less than 2 blocks away, and one would have to walk on a busy street to get to work (no sidewalk).

this is a four part question:

1: what do you think? Should the college girl have been deported? (she did have exellent grades)

2: What does this do to the statement: all illegals are rapists robbers and thieves? (just one statements made by people against illegals)Disregarding the fact that just being here is a crime. ( I know this.)

3: what does this do to the statement: they only do jobs Americans don't want. (if she's in college she's not after a ditch digging job).

4: Should the college be held libal for haveing an illegal just like an employer is?

By now you all should know where I stand, but I want to know where you stand.
This is refering to the case going on in Arizona right now.
Anyone making a statement in regards to my spelling and punctuation is admitting to being an idiot. You know and acknowledge this.

And wouldn't it be a good idea to put the children of America to work in factories?

Children are good workers. They are easy to boss around and will believe that they can be punished for the slightest infractions.

This is the kind of workforce that will return us to greatness!!

I know she, of course, has the right to do so, and that other celebrities do it also, but she is bigger and more influential than almost anybody. So far she was appealing to all Americans, but will that change now that she is taking sides and being very vocal about it? What would happen if Letterman, Leno and others choose their candidates and start promoting them? So is it right? Will people listen to her? And has she become more powerful than she (and we) can handle?

I drew up a contract for some drywall work I was going to do for a contractor. I signed it and dated it, then I faxed it to him. He emailed it back with some modifications. I didn't sign anything afterwards. I started the project, but midway was told that I have to use certain screws or it wouldn't pass inspection. The contract says nothing about screws. Also, the contractor wants orange peel on the walls, but the contract says nothing about texturing the walls, only the ceiling.

Can I charge extra for these modifications he's making?

If so, what if he says no?

If no, what can I do?

Here in Edinburgh a developer submitted a set of drawings for modification to a shopfront with statement there would be 'no change to shop frontage' but then proceeded to build something completely different which then required the building of a ramp for the disabled on the public footpath The city officials then went out of their way to find a way of in effect giving possession of public property (the public pavement) to the developer
Question. 'Is this legal'

To many people today do not carry valid identification and this hiners law enforcement and cost the tax payers. I believe a mandatory 30 day jail term if any law enforcement official finds someone with no valid identification.
