I just got a letter from the landlord stating it wants my back rent or to leave the premises. It say's they want to know by Monday if I can gather the money or not. I have heard 60 days but am unsure.

You just got your "3 day notice" on Monday, your landlord will probably file an eviction case. You will get a hearing notice, and the court will probably give you 10 days or so after the hearing to get out.

How long it all takes depends on how quickly the court has a date open.

There will be/has been an eviction notice filed. It should be served on you by someone (likely law enforcement agency). Most times it has a 30 day requirement.(varies though) Also depends on if there are children living in the house/apt.
