i know some1 that pays like 7,000 dollars for tax (not shure if its for 6 months) , but he is illegal. why does he need to pay that much money??

To address the question about ways to be legal, I linked the website of the US Citizenship & Immigration Services. As for taxes. US law taxes ALL income earned in US territory and worldwide income of US citizens. The IRS does not care if the income is legal or not.

If you visit the website of Immigration and Natural citizens,
it will give you specific details on proper immigration to America. You will have to pick a number and get in line like
the rest. I think your way is illegal. There are work visa's but I do not believe they cost that much.
