Can you do separate wills and then if something were to happen a judge would decide whose wishes to honor? Our children are 1 and almost 3 and we have yet to do our will because we can't agree and an agreement does not seem possible. We may also be getting divorced...how does that affect our will?

Why is it always someone elses fault? Why arent people held accountable for their actions anymore? What the hell is going on and how far could it possibly go?

There are countless examples of how people have sued and won cases based on ignorance and lack of common sense.
Does it take a smart person to understand that coffee is hot?
Or does it take a smart person to sue for something claiming ignorance to get rich quick?

Im not sure, all I know is that no matter what you do someone else is always atleast somewhat liable to the outcome.

Its ridiculous.

To get to the problem my debit card was tapped in to and all my money was taken. Now Green Dot refuses to help or even investage the thift. Now there is a person in the ups fraud dept. that has been most helpful. I then called greendot and they told me to write a letter with suspect info. I then got a reply to the fact I was S.H.O.L. It was determined that i had an account with UPS. Ah! Daa!. I called greendot sopke to Dorthy (with no last name.it was not nessairy she said) who said exclatly what the reply did. They have no intention of doing anything. so now I was advised to take them to small claims court. help? anyone

They said they found blood in the back of the car. Are they sure it is blood or general body fluid. What makes them so sure it is madeline's blood?. Fluid could have got on to the wheels of the pram and then entered into the back of the car from ages ago rubbing into the back of the car. Childrens urine, poo poo could easily spread around many household objects and then rub into the back of the car. Or the police officers could easily have made an error or have deliberately said they found blood in the car because they are fed up of searching.

I am to appear in court soon because my ex burnt my diaries (written since 1984) when i split up with him. He's now appearing in court, charged with criminal damage. What bothers me is that the police now have my diaries and, although badly burnt, are still quite legible. I'm worried their content will be brought up for discussion because I haven't lead the most law-abiding life and this might be an excuse for my ex to have burnt them...

They have placed a swing sign that stands on the footpath outside my house to advertise their business. My house is currently up for sale and the sign outside my house may cause potential buyers to not look at my house due to this advertising board outside my house. I do not wish to communicate with the owner and would like to know if this is legal to place a sign outside a private dwelling on the footpath some distance from the place of business. In the application plans no mention was made of advertising signs and placements and also it was stated that no inconvenience would be caused to neighbours. Well it could be losing me viewings on my house. Even if my house was not up for sale this would still be a matter of concern. Please advise.

In class we were covering how the US courts ruled that another country was fined for it's citizens committing a terrorist attack. And we were noted to related it to last quarters notes as to the US definitions and the DoD's classification of terrorism. Oddly, being forms of terrorism in itself. We are reviewing a case where a US muslim, was attacked by a US soldier who has ties with a Arian Nation "group". Thus, a racially motivated attack with added threats to the victem's family. If the military sees all enlisted men as representatives of the states, and the soldier, who was on duty at the time, attacked a civilian US citizen, and also has ties with a group who is listed on the terror group lists. Doesn't that mean that the US supported a terrorist since the army only gave him a fine. The muslim man's report was tossed out and basically ignored. But he reported several more confrontations and threats if he pursues taking the soldier to court. So can he sue both the US and soldier?

Yes they left there children alone, Crime. But what you trying to tell me that the mother killer her daughter, her husband knew. So if thats the case then everyone round that table having dinner was in on it then. They then hide her body for 5weeks while being in the public eye with the press following there every move. They then got a hired car moved the body put her in the car then hide the body again all without being seen, even tho they press and police was watching there very move! I dont think so, and look at the police over there how come all this information keeps getting out, because of the police over there, and this blood in the car has been put there by the police over there so maybe the person who done it was in the police! why was this blood not picked up before? If im wrong and they did do it then i will be shocked, but if they didnt just think what they are going through. This is down to the fact that the police over there cant do there job!

When an individual is acting as power of attorney, do they need to provide copies of financial documents to other family members? For example, if someone is acting the POA for their sick mother (who is unable to make her own financial decisions), would the POA need to provide documents for the sick mother's other children?
If possible I would like to know the guidelines for a situation like this for the state of California. Also, if anyone has a good link that would have lots of POA info. I would be VERY grateful!
Thanks!

The offense was committed in 2003. I was fine $1,000 in year 2005. However my case was not really theft. But due to stress and anger make me to commit the crime. However the victim was at fault too to cause me to do this to him. My is not a theft intention. I only did it once in a folly. I wouldn't commit it again in the future. But i think its too late . How will i expect to explain to the companies for them to accept me. I believe certain countries like singapore its not legal to check one's criminal offence. So jobs industry like sales, admin, schools hotels, F & B should be able to find without telling them about one's past. Minus those doing projects with the government or sensitive. Cos criminal records checks is only available through government.
