turn them over to the local sheriff?
The sheriff could use volunteer jail labor and bus prisoners to their work assignments in the fertile valleys where fruits and vegetables are harvested.

These are the prime areas that draw illegal immigrant workers. If they had to compete against prisoners on work release programs they would go somewhere else rather quickly.
The Sheriff could reduce overcrowding in the jails by transferring inmates to agricultural areas to live in housing similar to Joe Arpaio's jail in Maricopa County, Az.
Shutting off the magnet of farm work would do a lot to slow down the flow of illegal immigration and would help to argue against the need for a guest worker program.

How many problems would this solve or create?

After all, the fed prints money, federal banks loan that money into the economy relying on a practice called 'fractional reserve banking', which makes it possible for them to loan 5 times the money they have on hand.

The Constitution (the supreme law of the land) puts the creation of money into the hands of Congress, but establishes that every 'dollar' be worth one ounce of silver.

Should we impeach every Congressman who votes for deficit spending?

Should we impeach every President who signs a budget requiring deficit spending?

question about a 12 year old child who has not seen her father
since a toddler.
Her grandfather has helped raise her.
Her father went to court when she was 1 and got some rights
visitation every other weekend.
He dropped the case ,since he started it and decided not to pursue
rights.
He then stopped paying child support.
I know legally this sounds wrong but this was done through lawyers
not a child support agency.
I allowed this to stop because I was concerned about her safety with him. He was going to try and get full right and let his childless sister adopt him.
His son is older and I feel he can voice her feelings a bit more.
I have recently decided to try for child support again.
Since I heard it is the law.
Even though I still have concerns about her safety, this is not
done through lawyers so it doesnt give any custody rights ,yet.
I am trying not to say too much ,but what do you feel about this?
If I am concerned with her safety should I just let it go?

In my humble opinion, ciggerets and liquor is way more dangerous then pot. Statistics show that ciggerets kill thousands of people every year due to lung cancer heart attack, etc, pot has yet to be proven to cause any of these thinks. Statistics also show thousands of people die from alcohol overdose, but yet, you can't overdose on weed no matter how much you smoke. As a matter of fact, the only reason why weed is illegal is because they can't tax it, so people would grow it on their own and not pay taxes on it, not because of what it does to you. Weed also wears off in about 2 hours, so you can drive home sober. If you get tanked at a party, your going to be drunk for the rest of the night, and most people are willing to take the risk to drive home. Alchol can also cause fights and people to becoume violent, not pot. Do you agree with my following statement.

the police and i are arranging me to turn myself in for one count of burglary at which point i will be released on bond and have to appear in court. i know this is a felony and i want to get this expunged from my record. I was wondering if it mattered if i had a private attorney or a public defender. i just turned 18, and this is my first offense ever so my goal is to get "youthful offender" status and this be expunged from my record. i am not sure if only an attorney can do that or if a public defender can do that as well since i am not contesting anything my main goal is for a plea bargain where this does not go on my record but i serve my probation time. thanks guys

Ok the humane society cam to our house the other day and tried to give us a citation on our horses and i refused to sign , They took pictures of my horses and etc without my permission and since i refused to sign the citation and was rude to the officer , the head of the Humane Society is coming to our house to inspect himself and in a very blunt way pretty much told us he was gonna be very nitpicky and he had the right to seize out animals. I looked at there website online and it says they are privately owned so, do the actually have the right to take our horses? And note* our animals are absolutely fine , there not skinny, or abused...for the full store and pics of our animals see my question titled "Humane Society ..make there own rules" in the horse section of yahoo answers/

I asked a question about a rapist and a murderer who's victim was 11, that isnt deemed of sound mind due to mental illness to stand trial. All I asked was do you think its rediculous that that should matter. I mean the person killed someone a child in a terrible way, and everyone was offended that I think the man should executed either way. I am a mother, I let my emotions rule me when things like that happen, and I make no appologies. Everyone has a rigt to there opinion!!

My brother has been the stay at home parent of his two children since they were born. He divorced two years ago and has since been the stay at home parent, as he owns his own business. He just got remarried and now the mom wants full custody. He is probably one of the best dad's ever. She has been abusive towards one of the children. She is not only seeking custody, but child support as well because his financial situation has dramatically improved with his new marriage(his new wife has tons and tons of money). It seems that the mom is doing this for financial benefit and not for the children. Do you think that the judge will grant her custody because she is the mother? I was curious if there is a favoritism towards mothers. This is in California.
Thanks!

Hi,
I was foolish and took out a car loan on behalf of ex girlfriend before she became my ex. I have full title on the car and registration. We had a notarized agreement that she would pay for the loan. pay all costs with the car ie insurance. She has failed for the past three weeks to make the first payment and made no real attempt solve the problem. I said our agreement was void and asked her to return the car. She has not replied and i believe she may have left the state with the car (maybe to Louisana but i think i know the location of where she may be living). Our agreement did not state she could leave the state with the car. What are my options. Can I report the car stolen? technically she is also driving without her own insurance on the car as i removed her from my policy. I have no confidence she can keep to our simple agreement and feel like I have been deceived. I know this mess is going cost me money but I just want the car back ASAP and sort out the car loan.i need help

I am hoping someone familiar with Colorado check laws can help me with this. I am just wondering if the person/company that recieved a a check returned to them due to insufficant funds/closed account/stop payment etc...
Has to first prove they attempted to contact the writer of the check for payment options before turning them in for possible fraud?
Also, if you wrote a check to someone while your account was open and you had the funds, but they waited..say three months to deposit the check, and now you closed the account so of course the check was returned to them...can you be prosecuted for writing a check on a closed account? I mean technically you didn't right? They just waited too long. I ask because I recently closed out my checking, and has luck would have it..of course someone I wrote a check to for an Ebay item deposited the check the day AFTER I closed it. Although I wrote the check on July 17th, they didn't present it to my bank for payment until September 4th!

I want to change my son's school. He was in a public school system for 6 years. During that time we had him assessed and an IEP was created and put into place by the school district. It worked great for the first 2 years, then his last year it went downhill...mostly because of the teacher. His mother and I agreed to move him to a private school. The school change has not helped at all, things have gotten worse. His mother wants to keep him there but I want to move him into my top rated school district, I recently moved. The school district is willing to re-assess him and put into a place an IEP and SST. His mother wants to keep him at the school, for "belief" issues. I'm researching everything. Yes we are in court, I have tons of evidence to support me but the burden of proof is on me so I need mega-tons of evidence.

I work in sort of a tech support environment. I've been working for the company for almost a year. When I was hired, they said that I could take a test to become a senior rep and if I pass the test, I would get a raise. I took the test and passed. I was given the position, but they haven't given me the raise. It has been 2 months since then and they keep telling me that they are waiting for approval from the parent company. They also said IF it is approved... There shouldn't be an IF because this was something that was promised during the hiring process.

What I want to know is where I would report something like this. This company has been nickle and diming me and every time I turn around, I get screwed again. I'm in CA, USA. Is there a state office or organization that handles payroll disputes?

I just moved in over the weekend. The apt manager assigned me my parking slot. She mentions that another person is using that spot, but will call them to tell them not to park there anymore. I go to park later that night, and someone is parked in my spot. So I park in the "prospective tenant" parking, and immediately call the office and leaving a detailed message and requesting someone to call me back FIRST THING in the morning. Park over night, wake up in the morning to get breakfast, then try to park in my spot, and it's still taken! So I continue to park in the "prospective tenant" parking, I then go inside, eat , and get ready to go out, and my truck is gone! I never got a call from my apt complex, so clarify where to park. So technically I was a new tenant with no assigned parking spot. I had to pay $270 for towing. AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT? I email the Management Company directly, as well as left a voice mail with them. It's been 4 days. No reply backs!
