In my humble opinion, ciggerets and liquor is way more dangerous then pot. Statistics show that ciggerets kill thousands of people every year due to lung cancer heart attack, etc, pot has yet to be proven to cause any of these thinks. Statistics also show thousands of people die from alcohol overdose, but yet, you can't overdose on weed no matter how much you smoke. As a matter of fact, the only reason why weed is illegal is because they can't tax it, so people would grow it on their own and not pay taxes on it, not because of what it does to you. Weed also wears off in about 2 hours, so you can drive home sober. If you get tanked at a party, your going to be drunk for the rest of the night, and most people are willing to take the risk to drive home. Alchol can also cause fights and people to becoume violent, not pot. Do you agree with my following statement.

I do not think all drugs should be legal, just pot.

One more thing to ad, pot like any other drug can be abused, but in moderation is not bad.

Yeah statistically speaking - the worst thing that's going to happen to you as a result is going to jail.

You are actually incorrect. Marijuana smoke contains a lot of the same cancer causing agents as tobacco smoke. In fact, some studies suggest that smoking one joint is comparable to one pack of cigarettes in terms of the amount of carcinogens that you inhale. You also forget that tobacco and alcohol are very highly regulated industries and the quality of the product you are getting is assured. Marijuana is not regulated and you really have no idea what you are getting.

Pot has been shown/proven to lead to higher highs. Just like the alcoholic who "has" to have a drink, the pot smoker ends up going to a stronger substance to get higher.

Tell that to 2 friends of mine, heavy weed smokers since 1969, they both died from lung cancer from it.

More people definitey die from from alcohol and cigarettes, but marijuana is VERY addictive in it's own way and extremely habit forming. It's very hard to stop once you start, and people are so zoned out they can't see what it's doing to their lives (what, doesn't everybody work delivering pizzas and sleeping in their parents garage at 35???)

Obviously, smoking marijuana has killed many of your brain cells since you find it difficult to spell simple words correctly.
