Ok this is for my aunt and this happened to her today - she was driving her daughter to school and the car in front didn't move for a few mins because the woman was texting so my aunt beeped the horn. The woman began to stick to fingers at her and refused to move, my aunt stuck two fingers back an moved into the other lane to drive. The woman then drove side to her and began to take photographs on her phone of my aunt and her daughter, then drove in front with the gun signal in her hand and mouthed "your dead".

I think she's jsut a psycho but my aunt and cousin (who is only 11) are very shaken. What should/can they do?

My boyfriend and I are wanting to move in with each other, but the mother of his child reckons that if we do, she will stop him from seeing his daughter, all because I have epilepsy! She reckons that their daughter would be a risk if I was looking after her on my own, and that there is a law in which she can do this. My epilepsy is controlled and I've been fine for a year and a half! So can she stop my boyfriend seeing his daughter because of it? We have been together for a year now.

I find it rather sad that what I believe to be a little straight talking should be counted as abuse. I'm not angry just sad.
It was a McCann question

I think I might be okay on this one, but need opinions of people who may have been in a similar situation.
I filled in a form on the internet to recieve a free trial of an international magazine which was Swedish (I live in UK) and after about 3 weeks I got the mag in the post. The letter that came with it stated you had to inform them you didn't want to continue with the subscription within 14 days of receipt otherwise they will continue to send you the monthy mag and bill you.
Now much to my stupidity I forgot to do this up until about 17 days later, by which time I had recieved an invoice for the full subscription. (But how would they know when I recieved the mag in the post? As UK post can be pretty unpredictable due to recent postal strikes).
Anyway - I heard nothing back from the email I sent to them requesting that they cancel my subscription, and just recently they sent another copy of the mag! They only have my name and (temporary rented) address - no credit details at..

I work for a travling medical company and am contracted out to hospitals and such, at my most recent employeer I had to call out sick one day, I had the next 4 days off so I figured the next day since I was feeling better why not go out of town to see a few family members, when I returned to work my boss who was not scheduled for work came in and forced me to have a meeting with her at which point she began yelling and cursing me telling me I was a liar and I was out of town when I called out sick, she had no facts to back this up just her gut feeling, she then called my main company and told them this fabrication as well at which point they called and told me this may hinder future jobs due to the bad reference, my contract was also terminated early due to this. I feel like she has really put me in a bad spot by making up this story for which she has not an ounce of proof. Do you guys think that this could be grounds for a slander law suit? Any advise would be very much appreicated.

Why do persons who make hateful or offensive jokes demand that the persons whom they are insulting should not be so sensitive and get a sense of humour? instead of admitting that they themselves are wrong for having a sadistic sense of humour?

First it was India, now Russia. John Howard has shunned the NPA and the UN. Let's just sell it to Iran next. I am amazed by this little Germ strutting the stage and not careing about how this stuff is used.

That if our Military has to abide by the Rules of Engagement then the enemy has to also?
And if the enemy refuses to then our Military shouldn't have to either?
Does it make any sense for our Military to have to fight with one arm tied behind their back while the enemy takes full advantage of it by not having any rules at all?
Can we win the war the way we're going about it?
Would we have won World War 2 if we had fought this way against Hitler?
What would Gen.Patton have said if he was forced to fight this way?

The offense was committed in 2003. I was fine $1,000 in year 2005. However my case was not really theft. But due to stress and anger make me to commit the crime. However the victim was at fault too to cause me to do this to him. My is not a theft intention. I only did it once in a folly. I wouldn't commit it again in the future. But i think its too late . How will i expect to explain to the companies for them to accept me. Sigh.

How would you feel if your mother tells you this...." You know, i almost had you aborted when i was carrying you in my womb.' ...or I didn't really want to have you,' .....or I tried to get rid of you by taking really harsh drugs, but you survived.

Abortion is an easy way out for out of control sluts!

Your mother should have had you aborted!

Are you offended by this statements? Think about the innocent babies that you murdered.

i was pushed into a window, received scratchs, finger swollen and possibly sprained, and my arm was hit with his car door as he drove away. police were called, and told them details but didn't go to doctors yet[wanted to just forget it]. i am truly hurt though,[now filled with major back aches and a protruding bone on my shoulder, too] and want to know if there is anything i can now do, rather than let him get away with it scott-free

HE WAS CONTRACTED MID JULY TO PAINT OUSTIDE OF OUR HOUSE AND STILL HASN'T FINISHED BY THE BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER!!!!!
We paid him half up front, with the balance to be paid on completion. The contract we signed said he would be finished no later than August 9th.
The job he has done so far is patchy in places, dribbles of different color of paint runnning down side, bare exposed wood in parts etc, etc, .
He always has excuses , turns up when he likes ! Rarely has done a full days work.

HELP...Legally can he come after us for balance if we find someone else to finish this botched job.....
HE IS THREATENING TO PLACE A LIEN ON OUR HOUSE AND SUE US!!
This is becoming very exspensive.... !!!!!!!

Think for a second, "All woman when they turn 18 must register for selective service or lose college loans, etc." This is 2007. We all benefit from living in America. It is wrong to mandate only males serve in the military if a draft is put in place. Ladies, you should be as vocal for young men as you would if only young women had to register. You can't have both ways.
