I have been subjected to reprisals (discrimination) for filing claims under FECA, FMLA, OSHA, Whistleblower Act. These reprisals have included being mandated to attend "improper-illegal" Fitness For Duty evaluations by means of deception by the employer (and Doctor), denied pay when injured-sick, denied representation by union stewards, numerous "bogus" disciplinary actions and even "interrogation/intimidation" by "the one" protective agency that is supposed to investigate threats and intimidation of the workers!

My 32 year old son lives in Denver. He is profoundly deaf. He works for a printing company. He hired on as a driver. He's a great worker and his boss loves him. He has learned additional duties such as binding, etc.
Here's the thing. He has an AA in computer graphics from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has repeatedly asked his boss if he can do computer graphics. His boss tells him no, because he is deaf and he would need to communicate with the client. He doesn't even let him try.... just says no, because he's deaf.
Is that an ADA case?

I know someone who has a great talent for spying then snitching on, spinning very convincing sounding facts out of innocent acts or pure accidents, incidents, or fabricate, interpret, implicate, add material if necessary to make innocents look like hardened criminals :)

I fear this person but feel this could be a really remarkable talent in the right field ? Is there such a place where such a person could make a name for themselves and become rich and powerful? I think this is a real easy career if one has the stomach for it. What do you think?

I just fear for those who have to rely on such a source for information cos their decisions would be real risky. Anyone agrees out there?

I believe that checking "I agree" to the therms and conditions on a website enters you into a legally binding contract, much in the same way a signature does on a sheet of paper. Can anybody provide a link to somewhere that verifies this?

I bought my ex-bestfriend a dog adn the yorkie was
$800+$250(shipping) + $40(micro chipping) and I told her she had to pay me for her and that was September of last year and she hasn't paid one cent towards the dog and her mom said she never hear of how much the dog, when I brought up the yorkies cost about 4 times around her.
But I dont have any proof she said she was gonna pay for her,
but I do have the document that I paid for the yorkie.
Could I win the small claim case? I am taking her and her mom to court

I am an identical twin with a serious medical condition. This coming week my identical twin will be going on the Discovery Channel and telling "Her Story" showing pictures of herself and bringing attention to a condition in which I have tried Desperately to conceal. I was Not made aware of the airing of this program until the day before yesterday. Much of the information was from medical research they learned about myself. I am Hurt and Frustrated that she never told me about this until now and how she plans on bringing attention to this condition, herself and her non-profit organization which has stolen from many people to line their own pockets. What would you do to Stop it? The airing of this program will only make my medical treatment more difficult and my privacy will be no more, what woud you all do, PLEASE help with your suggestions. Thank You....

background check and the applicant has stated that they have never been arrested under a misdemeanor or a felony but it comes back on the criminal check that they had been arrested for theft and charged with a misdemeanor 22 years ago, is it the responsibility of the employer to inform the applicant of these findings, or can they just assume this person is a liar and a thief and move on to the next applicant. I feel as if that person should know what is coming back on their history check because what if it is a mistake that needs to be taken care of. But LEGALLY, does the employer have to. BTW, this is Texas law I am asking about.
