I am an identical twin with a serious medical condition. This coming week my identical twin will be going on the Discovery Channel and telling "Her Story" showing pictures of herself and bringing attention to a condition in which I have tried Desperately to conceal. I was Not made aware of the airing of this program until the day before yesterday. Much of the information was from medical research they learned about myself. I am Hurt and Frustrated that she never told me about this until now and how she plans on bringing attention to this condition, herself and her non-profit organization which has stolen from many people to line their own pockets. What would you do to Stop it? The airing of this program will only make my medical treatment more difficult and my privacy will be no more, what woud you all do, PLEASE help with your suggestions. Thank You....

Contact the Discovery Channel and tell them what you think.

Call an attorney. But don't you think that bringing attention to it could help because the more awareness, the more pressure to make medical advancements to cure it. Michael J. Fox made Parkinsons more apparent to the public and he didn't want anybody to know at first. Also Magic Johnson when he was diagnosed with HIV. Both of them brought overwhelming attention to the diseases and resulted in more government and charitable funding. It is a private matter and understand how you feel as I have a chronic medical condition myself, but if nobody knows this condition exists, then why would anybody think to try and research it and find a cure.

Call an attorney immediately and threaten to sue Discovery channel. Even if they go ahead, you have damages coming.

I would turn from children's books to spec writing for "Law and Order" or "House".
