in your opinoin, is someone who works in a shop that sells drugs, but doesnt have anything to do with it themselves, be a a worse person than a rapist?

reread the question, the person who works in the shop doesnt sell drugs, she just works somewhere were drugs are being sold.

Ummm...The rapist is worse. In my opinion.
The guy/girl in the shop isn't forcing drugs on anyone. The supposed "victims" have a choice, technically, not to buy the drugs. A rape "victim" doesn't have a choice or it wouldn't be rape.

One is a hypocrite and the other an overt criminal.
Which one is worse?
For my money the hypocrite has a hotter hell.
Sells drugs but doesn't use them?
Screw that. I'm not defending the rapist here, but I sure think that someone who knows enough not to take drugs, but cares so little about others that he would sell them to them... well that person has a serious, deep moral issue.
That's like declaring a war that you don't want your own children to die in.

I recently read a passage in one of Lewis Carroll's "other" works, where he was exploring the idea of morality based on whether one knew one was doing wrong. Under that train of thought, the person that works in the shop would be worse, if he was totally oblivious to whatever evil his work caused, while the rapist knew he was committing evil.
I found it rather hard to agree with, but the concept was there.

Is a drug dealer worse than a rapist? Yeah. But the rapist could also be strung out on the drugs that the dealer supplied. Vicious cycle.

i think both in a way are the sam because he is letting kids and adults get high and go do stuipid things like raping poeple or murdering them so it is in way letting rapist go raping happen if that makes sense. but it is what u think
