Yes, elected officials should be subject to prosecution for their personal actions -- using the same model as corporate officers.
I still believe that elected officials should not be prosecuted for actions that are solely a function of their legal requirements for office -- in other words, if they are complying with what they are legally required to do, they should not be prosecuted just because the laws conflict.
But if a person breaks the law, they should be subject to legal penalties -- whether they broke the law while in office or not.

No such law is needed, as if the crime they committed calls for incarceration, it is already covered by other laws. If the crime they committed does not call for mandatory incarceration, then they should be treated like everyone else.
Justice is (or at least should be) blind baby!
EDIT: Agreed with Coragryph..there are certain functions of elected officials that require amnesty...didn't even think of that to be honest!

they all deserve to go to jail, for the way that they are letting the average Americans take it up the but , for there buddies in corporate America.
