Does anyone know the statue of limitations on a suspendable sentence for a class D felony...example if you are on probation and get off how long do you have to be off to have another case's sentence suspended. I have heard its one or three years?

ok so the deal is that on my birth certificate
my name [jessica]
is spelled as yessica.
i can totally understand how someone can
mess up a j with a y
especially since my momma has some sloopy
writing.

but
on my social
school information.
EVERYTHING
my name is spelled as
jessica.


now for the id i think that would
be a problem since they would probably
want to put how its written on the
birth certificate.

how can i fix all this?

Recently I sold a coin on ebay for $400 bucks. The buyer claims he never got it and wants his money back. I mailed the coin out but didn't have any tracking info so I don't know if he is lying or really didn't get it. He paid with a money order so I got paid and refuse to refund him as I paid a lot for the coin years ago ($300.00), my question is, can I get in trouble for this since its his word against mine ? I have a great feeback rating and if I refund his money, I would be out the money and the coin. I honestly mailed the coin so I know it got mailed out to him. What can he do ? I was told that since its not a large transaction, nothing will really happen. I feel bad he claims he didn't recieve it but I also am not sure he is telling the truth, it is easy to say he didn't get it and try and get it for free. Can I get in any trouble for this ??

I am a resident assistant at a local retirement home, and my bosses are being very impatient with the fact that I am pregnant. Occasionally, I'll call in sick to work because of nasty morning sickness. Also, I'll have to have my schedule adjusted for doctor's appointments and such. Now, the bosses are treating my like dirt, cutting my hours back drastically, and putting all of my other co-workers. I always work weekends now, I have the the worst shifts (night and graveyard), and even though I've talked nicely to my bosses about this, nothing is being done. They pretty much ignore my every request and continue to gripe and screw me on my hours and shifts.

What can I do about this!? Thank you!

The head index in Southwest Louisiana stays over 100 most days, it will be this way until November or so. Classes at the University started today and the AC is broken in several buildings. My friend is wondering if it is legal if not completely unethical to force students to attend classes this way. I'm sure she could get a refund still as they just started but she would lose an entire semester. We're considering contacting the newspaper. She's sensitive to heat as is and today was unbearable she had to leave 3 hours early.

my cuz is 21yrs old & is dating a 17yr old girl she is know pregnant. shes almost 18 but will not be 18 by the time the baby is born what can happen to him? is it her deciscion to press charger or can they be pressed since shes gonna be 18? since her parents dont knw that they are going out or that shes pregnant what can they do? if chargess press how long is looking at for this kind of act? this is in california ?

If we really have a separation of church and state, why should law breakers be given free sanctuary inside a church. If the church is deliberately holding criminals (illegal immigrants), shouldn't the church officials (priests) be subject to arrest for giving safe harbor to people who break the law? What do you people think?
