My friend went to get a license at 19, and he had never been in a school system, or anything like that, and since he didnt go to a driving school he had to present ID, I think he said 5 ID other then birth certificate. So he had to get 5 IDs, A library card, id card, and a couple others that I forget.

So, what law is this and is it nationwide or only in washington?

As the title says, I'm in a little jam. Today, for no f*cking hell of a reason, some f^ggots during my PE class are trying to hit me with a basketball just because it is funny. I warn them and kick the ball to them but then they do the crap again So I throw the ball in one of the biotches faces and so they start a fight in the locker room. I'm kind of outnumbered and I don't have any of my friends in my PE class so I was helpless and ignored it. I have a fear of being embarrased since today when it was 5 of those mofos against me and I just ran my *** out as soon as I got my clothes and my backpack. What should I do because my teacher is on the other side of the gym and they have some fast midgets that can trip me down just minding my own business albeit none haven't been able. Should I report this as
Assault and Battery to my teacher as soon as he takes role call because I don't know all of their names? Or should I just report their b*tch asses to the LAPD? Thanks

Please someone with experience in taxation can explain to me how this is legal?
Lets say I bought a car for $60,000 dollars and I paid 7% ($4,200) dollars tax at the time to register the car (this is not leasing) after two years If I sell the car for $50,000 dollars the new buyer will have to pay $3,500 dollars in taxes. If the second buyer sells the car one more time the third buyer will also have to pay taxes again. Ok since the government is collecting taxes from every sells, why is the first owner of the car is not entitled to get back his taxes since only its been used for the $10,000 worth of the car, is there any law a such? please serious answers only.

i have been with employer for 3 years, started off as part-time, then slowly went to full-time. it's a small based business that does not offer benefits to begin with. can i ask to go part-time or should i just tell them? the reason being is that i don't want to pay $200/month for after school child care in addition to having her stay at school an extra 2.5 hours every day after school. The other reason is that I would like to qualify for medicaid for the maternal expenses I will be incurring with my pregnancy. I am a single mom which seems that part-time hours/pay would most benefit my child now and the coverage of my child to be born. What are my rights? Thank You.

Monday, August 20, 2007

WASHINGTON — California Rep. Bob Filner was facing charges Monday for allegedly assaulting an airline worker at Dulles International Airport after becoming upset that his luggage had not arrived at a baggage carousel.

Filner, 64, is slated to appear in Loudoun County, Va., General District Court on Oct. 2. Court officials could not say whether the San Diego Democrat had been served the summons yet to show up on that date.

According to law enforcement officials, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police were called to the United Airlines baggage claim office at about 6 p.m. Sunday evening for a report of an incident with a passenger regarding his baggage.

Why are private corporations, when in the midst ofa recall, not required to announce the recall through the media(ex. television, radio, print...)? Shouldn't, wouldn't that be considered a more effective way to keep customers safe rather than rely on mailers and the news to reprot it? What about on their websites, is their a rule governing that?

He is UNDERAGE!! and was put in harms way by being in the back yard ALONE with a jumper!!! just what makes that ''NOT A GOOD CASE''????????...I called the child protective services and they seem to think it isn't anything to look into ''WHAT THE HECK?

I would like to know why it is called a doner program. it seems to me that the only person donating anything is the person giving up the orgen. It costs about 300,,000 dollers for a person to get a heart transplant, that money is devided between the doc and the hospitel. The only one not getting a dime is the person that provided the heart. Somehow that dosent seem right.

I have a registered sex offender in my neighborhood...he also serves on the homeowner's board?
It has come to the HOA board's attention...and the guy said he was innocent, refused to fight the allegation because of an illness.... so, the HOA board believes him and is doing nothing to remove him.

Is there anything that I can do....he lives within close proximity (less than 1 mile) from a private high school...a football field used by the city is directly behind his house, as is a swimming pool.

What is a Christian response to this? I fear for the children in my neighborhood...I do not know if he is telling the truth, ( I assume most convicts say they are innocent).

I think most on the board do not want to raise a ruckus?

I live in Texas.

My job is having me contribute $100 minimum to a charity of their choosing. I have no problems with donating to charity, I do it all the time. This is a good charity and one that I would normally support. However, I have a problem with the fact that it's being mandated. Is this illegal or something that happens all the time?

As Americans we have the right to due process, and a fair trial, however traffic court really isn't a fair trial. Basically ones only hope of winning is if the officer doesn't show up. A police officer's word is sufficent to "convict" a person, because they are held to a higher ethical standard.

If you plea guilty you pay the fine and court costs and get a ticket on your record, which can effect your insurance rates. If you plea not guilty and win, you stil end up paying the court costs.

So, short of the officer not showing up, your only shot is to plea no contest, pay the court costs and ask that the ticket be deffered on the condition you aren't cited in a given time period.

Technically, you have the right to a lawyer, but bringing a lawyer will do more harm than good, the logic is if you can afford the lawyer you can afford the fine, or it will piss off the judge how's that fair. Just something I was pondering when I went to court with my sister for her first ticket.
