If this guy is considered a risk, is it ethical for the UK govt. to deport him to Italy where (presumably in the govt's opinion) he is just as likely to commit further murders?

Is it OK for him to be a threat to Italians (or any other group), as long as he's not a threat to Britons?

A tribunal stated: "It would infringe his human rights if he was returned to Italy." The young man in question wasn't thinking about the human rights of the man he stabbed and murdered. Or the human rights of the widow and children of his victim.

I've just found out that the name I've used all my life for school, SS, marriage, my kid's birth cert's.is not what is on my State BC. I've used a city clerk's certified BC. My mom must have lied to me & the city to get it but i.e.; the local BC has Jane Smithems (not my real name) & John for father & Mary for mother. The state (legal) one shows I was born Jane McSmith--my mother said my dad died when I was a baby (ha!) & dropped the Mc & added on EMS. What do I do now? There is no Birth Cert. for the person I am & no history for the new name? Is there any kind of document or B.C. that could show Jane McSmith AKA Jane Smithems or something like that? One is my REAL name & the other is the name I've had all my life. On the state BC it shows my dad as John McSmith & her real maiden name but I care mostly abt my own birth certificate. I don't want to legally change any other records - Only show that 2 names = me. Help anyone?

Our class is making a video and plan to sell it on CDs to the senior class, so what do we have to do about the copywrites and such as to not break any laws?

I know we could just do it and odds are we'd never get caught, but seeing as it's a school we might as well do it right.

Okay let me try to make this as short as possible but with all the details....
My boyfriend has a criminal record that consists of the following...(*) drug possesion, (*) possesion of a gun, (*) robbery, (*) gta, (*) illegal use of credit cards (information, not the actual cards)....he has been in & out of prison most of his life. The past 3 years he has done good, working a steady job where he makes good money, no drugs or weapons, nothing. He has been reporting to his parole officer, not missing one visit or test (drug) at all. The only thing that has happend was his son's mother filed a restraining order on him (which ended today) Im thinking she did this cause she knew he was doing good and he did want to be in his childs life~~>she didnt. He wants to fight for visitation rights if anything...but beings how she is still hooked on drugs and always leaving their son with the grandparents...mabey custody of the lil guy. How would we go about starting the procedure? Any help welcome!!

I think the smoking bans in bars and restaurants are pure bullsh"t! Who agrees or disagrees and why.?
I think the only requirement should be owners of bars and restaraunts should have to post a sign on the entrance saying the are "a smoke friendly establishment" or if not a No Smoking sign. In advertisments they should also specify if they allow somking or not. This will give everyone the freedom of choice.

It`s not fair that the government is making the ban. It should be strictly the owners decision on all policies. He or she is the owner and it`s no different than allowing smoking in your house or not.

NOBODY has the RIGHT to a smoke free bar or restaraunt. If you don`t like smoke you can choose another place to go.

I am just looking for the legal factor on this. My ex-wife willingly let me take nude photos of her. She and I went our seperate ways and I am just curious if it is illegal to put them on a website. Not that I am going to, but she told me I would go to jail and it was a federal crime. Can anyone give me insight on that and what the law says. I live in SC.

so my family and i have been living in this apartment for a little over the month. the carpet is sticky, smelly, and attracts bugs. my parents have already been bitten by ticks and needed to go to the hospital to get it checked. they also refuse to sleep upstairs anymore because of them. we have told our landlady about this ever since weve moved in but she just ignores us. she tells us that shes old and sick. but she has children that helps her run the apartments. our neighbors have also been having trouble with her because it took the landlady over three months to fix the leak in her bathroom. she didnt not get it fixed only until she wrote a letter somewhere did the landlady fix it. my mom doesnt remember who our neighbor wrote to. so i was just wondering... how can i make my landlady take action?

I watched an american program lately called 'what should you do?' and there was a scenario of someone choking and it advised that you should not slap them on the back as this can cause the item to become further lodged and that you should just do the (don't know how to spell it) hi-men ik remover straight away. This isin't how I was taught first aid, is this true?
