Yes! I've seen several patients wasting away and suffering immense pain from cancer. I think some of them would have made the choice to die quickly without suffering, and I believe that everyone should have that choice!


P.S. Can I just say the person below me is full of crap! Many of my fellow nurses and most doctors I know wish that we could help death along at times. Certain cancers, like multiple myeloma, are extremely painful for the sufferer. I had a woman the other day with bone cancer and she was on a constant morphine drip. Even still, anytime she moved she would shriek and literally cry. I never felt so helpless when caring for a patient. Short of overdosing her on morphine, there isn't much more we could do for her aggressive cancer. People like that should have the choice to die rather than suffer!

NO! I work in a hospital. That is pretty much murder in my book. I have seen alot of good happen to people with cancer in hospitals. They will NEVER legalize it. Most health care wokers are against it...especially doctors.
