ok so the deal is that on my birth certificate
my name [jessica]
is spelled as yessica.
i can totally understand how someone can
mess up a j with a y
especially since my momma has some sloopy
writing.

but
on my social
school information.
EVERYTHING
my name is spelled as
jessica.

now for the id i think that would
be a problem since they would probably
want to put how its written on the
birth certificate.

how can i fix all this?

Have you even gone in to try to get the I.D. yet? They may not have a problem with it at all. When I moved to CA, by the time I got my license, I had married and changed my name and they didn't ask for proof or anything of the name change. You might get a clerk who will do it right for you.

Take it to the DMV. Trust me, they make mistakes all the time.
