Does denying Christians the ability to discriminate against gays prevent them from freely "exercising" their religious beliefs that homosexuality is immoral?

Is denying Christians the ability to discrimination an unconstitutional infringement on their First Amendment rights?

During a hurricane it seems that the criminals have rights and everyone else does not. During the time that the storm is approaching even the police will not get out when the eye is drawing near. People will literally camp out and wait through the storm so that they can loot at the proper time, and there's nothing people can do to stop them. What rights do property owners have in these situations? Property owners don't have the right to protect their property either - as far as I know they don't have any right to shoot people or do anything to protect themselves and normal security systems won't be working in a storm. It seems that the laws are protecting the criminals. Thankfully God knows what they are doing and they dont' get away with it - really.
Just curious what the law says.

If someone breaks into someone else's house and he either pleads guilty by way of an alfrod plea to criminal trespass(misdemenor) or goes to trial on the charge of burglary(felony). How would collateral estoppel effect the case? He did property damage and could be sued in civil court.

We are doing a home improvement project and our contractor gave us an estimate of
$33, 000. We are already $6,500 over that estimate and we still have a long way to go before it is finished. Our contract says we are billed on time and materials. Is there any law that prevents a contractor from going 50% over budget (that is probably where we will end up) and just saying "oh well, that is our material and labor costs"?

My friend and I live in the state of Oklahoma, and he has a handgun that he'd like to give me as a gift. I'm deploying in August, and my wife and I would like to have it for home defense, so that she feels a little safer. I'm only 20 years old, though.

Everything I've read in the laws say that this is legal, but I'd like to see if someone knows something that I don't. Everything I've seen says that FFLs can only SELL a firearm to someone 21 or older, but private gifts and such are only restricted to 18 or older.

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed the other day and had anesthesia sedation so I would not be awake for it. Soon after waking up I was escorted to the front office and they had me pay the difference in insurance. Isn't that something they would have known beforehand? I don't even recall paying and thought I had lost my credit card until my boyfriend, who was with me, told me I had put it in an outside pocket of my purse. It just seems like something that should have been taken care of before I was completely out of it or just waking up from sedation a few minutes prior. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

Has anyone watched this documentary? It really pisses me off to see what US government is doing to innocent muslims.Just a little bit of false intelligence is enough to screw up a muslim. One of them,a german muslim, who was released, not officialy, but in a jungle has been suffering badly and recently transfered to psychiatric facility. Some of the details of torture have surfaced and it simply make your heart weep. The story of few of them has emerged and all of them are innocent and most of them are still being held in guantanamo
without any access to justice. What do you free people say about that.

Hi there,

last week I was up town having a drink with my friends and I turned to them and saw two doormen talking with them, before I knew what happend they were fighting and I diddent know what was going on. So I lost them in the club and ran out to find them, two of them had bloody faces and went back to the door of the club where there was loads of shouting, I should have just left but I stuck around and the police came and arrested us all.

They locked me up for 16 hours and interviewed me about it all, they want me to go back in another week to the police station...I got an alleged offence of Assault occasioning actuall bodily harm...I have never been in trouble with the police before and am quite worried now as I just hope they have the cctv of the club or it may be there word against mine. I hope you guys can understand how worried I am, even though I hardly did anything apart form sticking around and being quite drunk. What would you do in my prediciment? Any advice? :)

My grandma was driving back from the local miners welfare in her mobility scooter when she gets stopped for riding back drunk, admittedly she likes a drink while playing bingo on a friday but she only gets plastered while at home, anyway from what she says they asked her to stand up and get of her scooter which she refused and tried to drive off, they arrested her for being drunk and disorderly and said she tried to run the female police women over. she spent the night in the cells for nothing, she's a 54 year old women who has paided taxes for years and this is how she gets treated. make me sick.
