I keep getting moralizing responses, or ones that do not address the issue at all, and many tries to get the answered have been deleted.

This is a societal question.

If you have committed no moving violation, do you feel society has probable cause to search your breath and body fluids for drugs and alcohol?

It is common for DUI's to be issued on the strength of mechanical violations, like tail lights, and I think this is an unreasonable intrusion.

How loose are we going to allow probablt cause to get? What affect on our lives will it have?

Last December, I put a car in my name for my ex boyfriend. I signed all the paperwork and he is not listed on the loan anywhere. He did pay $500 of the downpayment, and gave me a $200/ month (the note was $308) toward the car from February to now. We were living together and other than his $200/month, I paid our other $1200 in monthly living expenses. I would take his cash, use it for groceries, and pay the car note with my debit card. So I have all the payment documentation. We broke up 3 days ago. During the time he was giving me money, he had exclusive driving rights to the car, which I think more than makes up for his meager payments and downpayment. I now want it back, and he is refusing to give it to me without the reimbursement of his $500. He claims he will sue me if I do not. He has no legal basis to demand money from me, right?

They actually have a cure for cancer and AIDS and all that stuff but the government and pharmaceutical companies are just cashing in on all the money that people donate to "research" for a while?

I mean why wouldn't they? Its not like they care about the common person.

I'm a 19 year old college student and I got into an accident last Sunday. The man I hit was okay but his motorcycle got a little dinged up. He got up from the accident just fine and walked around...no real apparent damage; he was just really angry. Now, he's trying to sue me. My insurance has already paid for everything. On what basis can he sue me for? I have no money cause I'm in college!! Any advice????

What can, if anything, the United Nations do to prevent international politcal and business corruption? It's this obession with power and greed that negates all the outstanding efforts of such organizations as ONE. The result is that our bandaids of relief become temporary and in the end, people continue to suffer and die.

Are you against the death penalty or are some crimes acceptable to put someone to death. An extreme case would be Gary Ridgway who admitted to killing 48 women. Now from what I understand, he's negotiated a life sentence but do serial killers quality for the death sentence. (with no doubt to their guilt)

Help! I need to find a way to help my friend. He had sex once with a woman & had nothing to do with pregnancy or delivery (didn't even know baby was born) but...baby is now almost 2!! and he's to pay child support?? She had ALL the choices (abortion, adoption, KEEP) He didn't want to be a father ...he wanted him put up for adoption & now he has to pay? Where are his choices? This mother has 4 total children to 3 different fathers! My friend is Father #3 of child #4. How many times does this woman get to collect money from men? My friend doesn't want to go back to work because he won't be working for himself anymore!?! Can anyone give me some kind of lead to how we can have the Agencies or Courts see it his way? Thanks in advance for your opinions & ANSWERS!

My fiance received a notice( in the newspaper) that if he didn't responsed in 30 days his parental rights to his son will be taken away from him. Now this isn't the first that we have heard of the baby's grandmother wanting to have full custody of my stepson-to-be but we both thought that that was over considering the baby's mother put him on child support. Is it possible to force a father to give up his rights to his child?
