How(What) would the manslaughter get punished if they escaped from the Jail and got caught by the police?

I don't believe that the escape from jail would increase the sentence on the manslaughter, however, it would have a negative effect on the person's ability to seek early release for good behavior. Additionally, escape itself is an offense, so there would be an additional penalty. The net effect would be more time in jail.

Yes. If you commit a felony and are sent to prison. You are told what will be the penalty for escape. Different states have different guidelines. You may be looking at five years added to the original sentence, and no time off for good behavior.

well, you would still have the term given you originally, with whatever the law allows in that state for the judge to toss at you for escaping. it could double the original sentence
