Did not receive cost of living increase from employer-over one month late. Healthcare benefits have been overlooked and after 2 years still no insurance. Employer will not give a letter to release me for another company to hire, never had a "non compete" clause or contract-cannot get this job I need. There are many other issues as well.Too many to list

Is there a law that lets you take back a purchase ( such as a motorcycle) within so many days without any penalty? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I live in Ohio. Thanks!

I signed up for a diet program with a chiropractor who is also a nutritionist who would not give me a refund because a piece of paper was signed. The document says "MAY NOT" be refunded. It does not say "WILL NOT". To me this means 2 different things. Do I have a case?

A family with two young children was riding their bikes on a quiet city street in the bike lane. A guy in a fast sports car saw them coming and still decided to turn left in front of
them, going about 40mph and nearly hitting them. His license plate # was recorded, as was the car's description. Turns out he lives 1/2 a block from where the incident took place. Now, hypothetically and philosophically speaking, would it really be that bad to pour a couple of gallons of Jasco paint remover on his shiny black paint job? I'm sure the cops would do nothing if they were notified, maybe just "make a note of it". Obviously I know that it'd be against the law, so please don't reference the law. This is more of a tit for tat situation where a lesson needs to be taught to a young egocentric punk. Otherwise where is the justice in this situation?

It sickens me when I read about the extravagance being lavished on the visit by the "queen" - so called- at taxpayer's expense. Do the majority of people not object to the federal aristocracy that our federal government has become? We rejected the notion of "royalty" in this country, recognizing that there is no birthright that makes one person automatically more important than another. Yet our government, in typical fashion, knows no bounds when it comes to the expenses that are lavished upon just such a person. Is there no way we can elect people to office who will fight the people's fight, which is to protect us from a government elite and this type of conduct and abuse of taxpayer's dollars.

P.S. It appears that Ms. Laura didn't realize that when people referred to her husband as King George, it was meant as a disparaging remark.

yes god helps me.when ever i was in need of help i always found him around me,he send some body to help me.what i m today because of him.he says dont fear from me,fear from your mistakes only.i dont fear from god as he is a good friend of mine if i do any mistake,i quickly take action to improve that mistake and change it into a good deed,if i do some mistake for any body,i quickly say sorry to the person.once i was going with my brother on his scooter,three boys on scooter followed us and asked us to stop the scooter.i said ok we are going to stop the scooter.i started praying my god,my brother made the speed high as that area was new to us and there was no law and order due to the indian festival of colors,holi.what i saw those boys were lying on the road.we reached near our area safely.i went to that area to say thanks to my god at his place.later i thought my god helped his followers without coming in front of them.today i feel god is around me,he will never let me down any where.

Does anyone know the laws about deflimation of character in the workplace?
Someone is going around telling my co-workers that i dont like them!!! FAR from the truth. I have an outside friendship with both of the people she says i dont like! Can i file a complaint about her? She is also saying that i cant be trusted! She is very upset that we have conversations and leave her out of them. We have lunch together at work, but we never include her. She is a jahova witness, and she does not share ANY of the same beliefs that we do. She is totally against drinking and we would rather her not know that we get together for drinks outside of work. She is also saying things to the other 2 parties involved.. Help ASAP. meeting at 1pm today

I recently bought a DVD set online. When it arrived the box was damaged. I asked for a refund and they said that I would have to send the DVD back. I did not want to do that (the DVDs themselves worked fine). I did not want to pay out of my own pocket to send it back. So I told them to forget the refund and that I would just keep the package.
They wrote back and told me to send the package back and they would refund it. I stated again that I would keep the item. They said that it was obvious that I had been trying to scam them I wrote back and told them that the transaction was complete and we were done. I also went and left feedback on the ordering site in the negative column but I stuck to the facts and simply stated the product had been damaged when it came.
The next day I recieved an email stating that since I had left negative feedback that this was slander and that I would be hearing from their attorneys.
So my question is can they sue me for that?

Every month I get atleast one fake institution or one cheating organisation offering their greatest awards for a price ranging from Rs.1000 to Rs.100000. These institutions are from either politicians based or rich movie hero/heroines based people or rich business people who are desperate to convert their black money into white money by looting the public money by offering the World's greatest awards for fees running in lakhs/crores. These organisations earn money in many ways like auditorium fees/snacks fees/V.I.P's invitation fees/ Chief Guests fees/invitation printing fees/photograph fees/DVD fees/Video fees/Momento fees/Award fees/etc/etc etc. All these fees they collect from the Award takers running in lakhs/crores of rupees. Black money is converted into white money.

Are they giving awards or collecting money to make themeselves richer by looting public money.

Half of my Social Security Disability benifits were garnished due to non payment of child support from a judgement from four years ago, before i started recieving benifits, there was a 1 yr period that i did not work and could not pay. Since i've been on ssd, (apprx 3yrs), i've paid child support witch is automatically deducted from my ssd check. Out of nowhere, without any notice I recieved only half of my ssd benifits! I automatically called social security and they told me that my wages were being garnished for failure to pay child support!!! Is there anything I can do? Im on the verge of being homeless because of this? Please help! Thank You!!
