Don't understand your question. Emancipated from what? Your mother is already kicking you out so what more do you need to get away from?

If you can prove that you can provide for yourself then you can get emancipated. I would look in to the fact that your mother is probably collecting social security on you though. Since your father has passed away, your mother can get social security on you until either, you reach the age of 18 or you finish school. If she is collecting, I would see an attorney and find out how to get it sent to my new address.

Good Luck.

You cannot become emancipated unless you have means to support yourself financially. As the above posted indicated, call Social Services and you can be placed in foster care or a group home until you are 18 and the State can have your father's SS dependent funds diverted to them for you care and she won't see a dime of it.

How soon do you turn 18? If it's not very long before you do, I'd probably save the money it would cost and put it towards food and shelter.

I would definitely do like the answerer above said and check into the fact that your mother is receiving a check from your father's death from the social security administration.
