It sickens me when I read about the extravagance being lavished on the visit by the "queen" - so called- at taxpayer's expense. Do the majority of people not object to the federal aristocracy that our federal government has become? We rejected the notion of "royalty" in this country, recognizing that there is no birthright that makes one person automatically more important than another. Yet our government, in typical fashion, knows no bounds when it comes to the expenses that are lavished upon just such a person. Is there no way we can elect people to office who will fight the people's fight, which is to protect us from a government elite and this type of conduct and abuse of taxpayer's dollars.

P.S. It appears that Ms. Laura didn't realize that when people referred to her husband as King George, it was meant as a disparaging remark.

I am disgusted at the show that was put on for the Queen. How much money do you think they spent to have her coronation rose made out of sugar and to import farmhouse cheese from England. BTW - why are we serving english cheese when we pride ourselves on our own? Can you imagine how many hungry americans could have been fed on what they spent for their 134 guests? Just thinking that I paid for caviar and lamb when my kids are eating mac and cheese peeves me off.

They mean a week from day after today. in the event that they meant day after today, on the instant being Thursday - and that's understood by using all worried - they might desire to declare "day after today," and not "Friday." to declare which would be perfect if it have been purely Wednesday, to illustrate.

I resent it very much.

The Queen and the Bush Family have more wealth than any of us can imagine, and I very much resent my tax dollars paying for a meaningless fancy meal for rich people.

3 out of 4 people standing in soup lines are children, yet our tax dollars are being spent on a frivolous high class dinner for a Queen.
